The previous clues are right on the money. Took a little while to figure out the words, but once you get them it's smooth sailing. BTW- I'm American and I had the most trouble with the last one too. :lol:

Hmm...still drawing a blank on this one. It seems obvious where to start and this is somewhat confirmed by the clues.

I "just add water" and mix it up but all I get is a bunch of slop. Just like my real life cooking abilities :oops:

Hint: Given that this is likely a question that is being asked, what do you expect at least one of the resulting words will be?

Get this, and you'll figure out exactly how to add water to the mix, and the question and answer will be quickly apparent.

Glad to see everyone's on the right track with this puzzle, it was supposed to be a little easier than, say, Bad Book. We've been shifting a little towards the fiendish lately- good sometimes, but not always.

I don't know why this one isn't hitting me, though I knew right away what the overall strategy would be. Do I mix each ingredient separately, or mix the whole thing together?

ETA: got a good hint that reinforced Masem's "question" hint above, and that tipped it for me.

Once you understand, it's so freakin' simple. Work on "ted tacked" first! That's what helped me.

It just goes to show you how differently people think - I found the last one (an age), the easiest to figure out and I'm not American.

I don't know if this will help anyone because if you've gotten this far, you've probably figured it all out but I felt there was one word too many in the question. It is an insignificant word that doesn't really change the meaning but it just makes it read awkwardly IMHO.

My advice would be to read the directions and think of different ways in which you could follow them. Then, start with the smaller words (oh and he) and after you've got those 2 figured out, a particular kind of "solver" online would be very helpful for "ted tack" and "sprinted" and then "an age" should be quite simple.

Heyo! Well, looks like the tables've turned, and ah can help others out now.

Well, if it's any consolation, I rated this one a '2' while many higher-ranked things that I wouldn't even really consider puzzles (just instructions lacking a little context) would get a '1'. It's all because you actually have to do something that isn't obvious combined with something that is.

There is actually order to the mix elements you see. And you can just do as the instructions on the container say to do. In fact, how you 'just add water!' is also an ordered process. Be careful not to add more water than you need though--that was my problem for the first ten minutes, hehe.

This puzzle bears a slight resemblance to the much harder 'More Codes' which I no longer need help with :D

The point of these puzzles is to solve them, not to ask someone for the answer. To solve it, just follow the directions. Add WATER in the smallest increments you can, stirring well each time. If you do it right, a question should appear.

If you've got everything else, the last word should be fairly easy to figure out. There's only one that makes sense if you've done the rest correctly.
