Tripod is a pretty good host, I always use them.

I don't like Tripod, they put ads on stuff, their servers are slow, and you can't link pictures hosted on them (but I guess you could use a image hosting thing like Photobucket (http://photobucket.com/)). Freewebs works for most people here, but I stick with Geocities.
