I have devised a new game to be played on the forum, with similarities to Mafia and similarities to Spam Battles, and some of its own unique elements.
In similarity to mafia, there are day and night phases. Another similarity is the fact that the two teams are the Citizens (see *1 for other details) and the Traitors (see *2 for other details).
In similarity to Spam Battles, the two teams have there own bases, one at each end of the battle field. In normal games, this is called The Land For Um (see *3 for other details), but can get pretty wierd. The teams are decided by the leader, not the signer-upper.
In uniqueness, the game has a thing called actions. They are a variety of things a player can do. It is restricted to five a day for the good, five a day for the bad, and two a night for the bad. I will go deeper into this aspect of the game if enough people like it. The game also has roles. There are the Citizens and the Traitors (see *1 and *2 for details), which are standard roles, but there are also Shields. These have a rather obvious ability. Also Executers, and a few others that I have thought of so far. Again, I will go into more detail if enough people like the game. The one KEY difference is that everyone knows everyone else's team, but not their role. So, it gets hard at that point, but it will be further explained if, you guessed it, enough people like it. So give your opinion! Give suggestions! Tell me it stinks if you want! I want to know!
*1: They can also be called villagers, townsfolk, etc. Or you can make up a name to fit the theme.
*2: They can also be called killers, criminals, etc. Or you can make up a name to fit the theme.
*3: It can also have names to fit the theme, but the area is always the same:
A field in the middle, and a base on either end of the field.
