The number of views in any thread is obviously directly related to the number of posts in that thread. As people add stuff to a thread, people who have read it go back in to read the new stuff. The rules thread is locked. Once you have read it, you know what it says and there is no need to go back and reread it.

There WAS another spam battle, Spam Battle Neo. Like most battles, they didn't last long because people who get too far behind quit, so even if they finished, there wouldn't be use for another spam battle. Death and Ladymage seem to still be having fun, so let them post.

If you want the new battle so bad, what's keeping you from starting it? I'm done for a while (Hosting a Spam Battle is harder then it looks, especially if you don't want people to be confused about where everything is)

I think the main reason people have problems starting new battles is that there aren't a lot of people interested in playing them. As a result, only a few can be played simultaneously, so starting a new one when there are already some going on may not work unless you do something interesting to capture people's attention.
