mafia 11 sign up(medieval mafia)

first off my mafia will start 2 days after the next one ends. this is so i can see how many people are playing to work the roles out. now for the story


once apon a time. the small village of..... um.... camelot (ah sue me copywrite) was in desperate need of help. the king of this village was evil.
he forced the townspeople to work all day with no pay. the villagers were all decided to kill the king but many of the kings nights were in the meeting ang because of all the armor no one knows who the knights are. the knights all returned to the king and warned him. "go out into my town and destroy them froim the inside" and so the knights took off there armor and blended in with the town. for further protection the king made a lights out law after dark. will the town kill there opresive king or will the king kill his subjects and move to a new village to conquer more people.
let the games begin

the godfather/king has many changes.
1if the town attack him he can not be killed until all his knights are gone.
2 if you attack him before hes out of knights a knight will jump in front of the attack and be killed instead. but only the first time. after that hes just gaurded really well.
3 if attacked the person that is using the kings role is revealed.
4 when out of knights he can not attack so at a tie with just godfather town wins.
5 the jumping knight in change 2 is picked randomly.

IIRC, you have. I think the king is overpowered.

No- He just has to be killed twice! However, I think it would be better for the evil team if the knight that saves the king doesn't die, or gets a choice, because the town will know who the king is AND an evil player dies!

The king is actually slightly underpowered, not overpowered - the first kill of the king does kill a mafia and it reveals the king's role, meaning that he can only be the closing vote and can't influence people with his posts. I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, just be sure to provide balance.

Maybe: A knight, unidentified, leaps in front of the king and is hit instead. He is now useless for the night. This way, he can do nothing that night (No pming his friends or the host) but is still alive.

Then maybe the next day, the knight can work again.

I honestly doubt that. Most of the people who have seen/been in mafia games have seen this, and if they wanted to join, they would have by now. This is why you should figure out the roles when you stop the deadline, and not just predict how many people will join.

I had actually PMed the host a long time before that to say that I would be his 12th in the event he was able to get the 11, so that he could have the game he had originally wanted. Leaving me off of the original list was an error on his part, not me violating his deadline.
