Once, there was a man named Chaucer. He was a citizen of Hamumuopolis, ruled by The Great Marshmellow King. Well, until recently. Mr. Marshmellow dissapeared, so it is now ruled by a person who, apparently, the Great Marshmellow wanted to rule the land, Lord Batty. For a while, the citizens were allowed to go about with their day-to-day lives, until Lord Batty showed his true colors, which were mostly green, and his true name: Dark Lord Batty. He then arested anyone who resisted him and took away the happiness that had once belonged to Hamumuopolis. But Chaucer decided to do something about it...

This is my latest RPG. Post here if you want to be in it! I will accept two bosses, three friends, one guru (see below) and a couple of civilian appearances.

Guru: The Teacher who guides you with tips and whatnot throughout the game.

Okay... storyline addition!

A great guru, Guru Grim3vil, sat in random places, somehow where he knew Chaucer would find him. He gave tips, and hinted that he knew more than he said, but he won't say what...

Story edit:

As Chaucer packed his things for the journey, he heard that there was word of a monster in the south of the Mayhemic Mountains. This beast had many clones, and was hard to pin down. Chaucer pondered how best to prepare, in case he ran into this monster.

Moves approved, need a name (if you want it to be your username just ignore this), looks, dissaproved. I think I have just the thing, though...

As Chaucer continued packing, there was a knock on his door. He opened it, to find [Name of Rtys's character to come soon] standing in the doorway, asking to come along on the journey. Chaucer nods, tells [???] to meet him near the General Castle of Blabber.

chaucer

Unfair arrests, forcing people to give their houses to spammers, and of course, spamming. He took away the ability to view non-spam posts, and soon, the forum became a collection of spammaps. A big map, of nothing but spam.

PS: Ducklegion, may I have permission to use the spam text animations you made for the Adventures of Forum? The stuff the spam cow, or whatever it was called, was supposed to attack with.

Well, here's the story:

On a night of calm and quiet, a young man slept in a house in Hamumuopolis, a city that, though once great and spam-free, now had holes in its defenses, and spammers were able to get through and, well... spam. This young man’s name was Chaucer, a user that had seen the town almost since it had been started. He heard a rustling, and woke up. He grabbed his magic hat, staff, and cloak, and stepped outside. He saw two figures a few meters away. One looked like it had a sense of power, Chaucer knew not why, it just did. The other had the first pinned to the ground, and was holding a sword to the first’s throat.
“Surrender the kingdom to me, and to the exclusive power of my banished master, and I will spare you.” Said the one pinning the first down.
“You shall never have this kingdom, Grazac! Nor will your master!” The first said. He looked up and saw Chaucer. The other person looked and saw him, too. The first person, who Chaucer now thought to be the king, yelled a word of power, and Chaucer disappeared. Grazac, a notorious demon member who was said to be a member gone bad, other than the Dark Lord, added the king to a worldwide ignore list, so he could no longer do anything, and left with him. Then he shot a jet of flame at Chaucer’s most precious friend, Chaucer the cat. The Cat mewed horibbly, then died. Its soul rose into the air, and rushed at Chaucer. He knew what he had to do. In the morning, he would post a message calling for help on the town bulletin, then the day after, set out to defeat Grazac. However, his message was mostly ignored, as the king was reported missing and was replaced by a person who, as far as the members could tell, had been expected to take the throne next, according to the kings will, which seemed oddly out of his style of writing, but was accepted. This greatly postponed Chaucer’s journey, until one month later, Lord Batty, the new king, was found to be Dark Lord Batty, but, because he was the king, stopped all the users from defeating him, and turned the forums into teh f0ru/\/\ w457314nd. Chaucer then urgently packed his belongings and set off, with the help of a few people.

A note crashes through Chaucer's window. It says:

"To Chaucer:

I will assist you on your journey to stop Mr. DLB.

Signed,
Redbone.

But then another note crashes into the town bulletin: Unfortunately, I kinda... accidentally, of course... kinda... well... kinda... I was getting rid of some programs on my computer that I never use, and... I kinda... sorta... deleted this file. It was the one file that, for some reason, wasn't in the RPGXP folder. Sorry guys.

In a way, this is a good thing, for it gives me time to work on my other RPG project. This one WILL get finished, I PROMISE.
