Demo Switchover

If you are playing the demo and you leveled up and stuff and you buy the game do you still get to keep your file? I want to buy it but I want to play my old file as well!

I think you can bring the file over to the final version, but you'd have to find your demo profile's file and then copy-paste it into the full game's profile folder.

I'm not sure... But wouldn't that be like playing a folder that's a demo one, but with the full version's application?

No, the save game file and levels file are separate. Plopping your demo save game (mystic.sav, IIRC) into the Kid Mystic full-version folder should work fine.

So to do that do you just take the file out of properties?

I think you can just install the files over the top of it.

You can just uninstall the demo, then install the full game, making sure you install it into the same folder the demo had been in.

Alternatively, you can install the full version wherever (different from the demo!), then go into the demo folder and copy your save files from there to the full folder. That would be copying mystic0.sav - mystic3.sav (something like that, anyway) from something like C:\Program Files\Kid Mystic to C:\Program Files\MyNewKidMysticFolderIToldItToUse. Exact folders in question will vary depending on where you put things.
