Signups for Mafia Game #20

Mafia Game #19 has started, so it is time to start the signups for Mafia Game #20. The problem is that the officially signed up host is having some issues with his internet connection right now. Mafia games usually last more than long enough for something like that to be fixed, so that won't be a problem, but we should get started o the signups.

So here's the deal, sign up for the game only if you intend to play in it. My best guess is that this game will be starting sometime between August 10-20. I will be keeping the list up to date for now.

Many people please sign up for the mighty #20 Brilliant Idea Mafia. The game is quite flexible, and brilliant, but it will be improved with a large number of players. I am hoping for 15+. There is no limit to how many people it can hold, other than how many PMs I want to have to deal with.

ABOUT BRILLIANT IDEA MAFIA

This is not a normal mafia game. Please do not think of it as such, or as a broken game or anything of the sort. It is a unique new experience based on the game of mafia. It may in fact go quite horribly, or it may be wondrous. It certainly won't be something we can ever play twice. So since it can only happen once, GET IN ON IT NOW!! It will most likely be a rather short game, and definitely a very strange one. Don't miss out on your chance to experience the one and only brilliant idea before it's vanished from our universe forever. Let me repeat: THIS GAME WILL NEVER BE REPEATED! DON'T MISS IT!

And hey, it's all in fun, so if it comes out completely broken, you'll still have had fun.

I'm sorry, but I'll be leaving for 9 days on 13th August, so either I'll need to be replaced while I'm away, or as most people who would play are already signed-up, I'll have to drop out. Which does, however, make it even.

I have sent out some handy lurker detection PMs to the players in preparation for this game, and while there are still a few hours of leeway to go, it looks like we have 2 uberlurkers who haven't been on the forum in a long time. That's not a big deal, but it means there are now 15 players, and I would really like to have exactly 16. It would just be ideal. So if anybody out there isn't signed up, and would like to give a quick and fun game a try, sign up now! Though the rules are changed from regular mafia, you don't have to know mafia well to play this one. First-timers are more than welcome, and this game includes a complete instruction set so you don't need any knowledge. You may even have an advantage due to a lack of preconceived notions!
