OK, I've had http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b151/AtkinsSJ/ColdplayMeh.png in my sig for a while now. But what could it mean? Perhaps you'll never know. However, if people want, I can put messages into the same code. It has A-Z, numbers and (),.&?!/ No way of showing capitals though.

Edit:
Baudot, I see.
I'm decoding it as UTS7 if you feed the tape one way, and MEH. if you feed it the other. I'm positive the second way is correct by viewing the source of the image.
I feel the same way...
MEH.

Baudot? Wow, you managed to come-up with a proper code thing. I just knew it was the code thing in Coldplay's X&Y album. :p

Assuming it's Baudot since it's 5 bits and using this:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/b2/Ita2.png
Read forwards, it's 01101|00101|01000 or 0D|05|08 or FS<CR>
Backwards, its 00010|10100|10110 or 02|14|16 or <LF>HP
It's not incoded in Baudot, it seems.

It's not quite the same system. You almost got it right though...
(Hint: 001101 is the first character.)

ah... now I get it.
I didn't see the 6th bit.
Decoding now...
