I have 4 mice which I have called:"Gobi, Gibson, Namib, Nuru" All of these names are from the atlas.We found: Gobi and Nuru in Asia, Gibson in Australia and Namib I'm not sure. Or we owned a cat (Unfortunatly it is dead, since 1 year. :( ) which we have called Yaqui (a river in Mexico).

Cats respond well to the long E sound. That's why I can get more reaction by calling, "Here, Kitty!" than I can from "Here, Shadow!" so if you were to go with one of your two original choices, you might have more luck with Honey. By the way, that's Shadow down below.
