Sorry, the rules say you have to have played in at least 3 games before you can sign up to host. We want to make sure our hosts have a firm grasp of how the game is played before they host. I see that you have signed up for the next game, so you should be able to get on the list before to much more time passes.Since you have never even played, you cannot sign up. It's probably just as well, as a godfather that powerful would certainly break the game.

You can change the one you are already signed up for to Nerd themed if you like, but you can't sign up for another game until the game you already signed up for is finished.

Also, I have noticed that many of the experienced players are not excited about playing in new hosts' games. I can understand their thinking, even though their fears for any particular host may be unfounded. Therefore, a new host will not be allowed to sign up immediately after another new host, so that we may have some experienced hosting in between novice versions.

Can I sign up for one? Strange Roles Mafia, I'd like it to be. I've searched and searched the deepest bowels of the mafiascum website to find the strangest roles! As far as I've planned, every role is strange in some way or another.

Sorry, Roland, but if you actually think that is a good idea, you're probably not ready to host yet. Loading up the game with bizarre roles that nobody ever heard of stacks the game too heavily against the town. One or two should be the tops, especially for a new host.

You have to do 3 games and it can't just be barely anything like one of your games. You need to do 2 more games to sign up.

But in the Mafia hosting rules, it says otherwise. :p

EDIT: Hey, it clearly says three! You might not be reading the most up-to-date rules- The most current rules list is on the 2nd page.

And you have to do a SIZABLE part of 3 games- Not just die on Night/Day 1. Only one of those games counts.

Coolguy is right. Games where you are killed on the first day/night don't count and you have to have 3 completed games to sign up. You have one, although it is really against my better judgment to count that one, because you gave yourself away so easily.

Like everyone else, I cannot edit my posts after a week goes by. You just have to look through the topic to find the latest rules.
