Sleepless Hollow: Tomb of Darkness

I have flipped four switches. One was from Open Sesame, one was in the area where you follow the briefly lit path through the quicksand or whatever that is, and the other two were towards the top left. I have done some of (or maybe all of?) the puzzle with the barrel in the upper right. Is there a switch up there somewhere I'm missing? I can see a gate up there. Help!

There is a puzzle with floors which change color, from grey to yellow. There are also Eensie Weensies behind the wall. Set one of them on fire, then it will go up and show you what design you need on the gold floor. I believe that's the one you need.

Sorry, I forgot to mention I did that one too. The only thing I can figure it that it has something to do with the barrel puzzle. Maybe. Sigh.

I created a topic just a little while ago. It should still be near the top. Most of the problems have gone unsolved, but a couple have been answered.

Help, I have one gate left! I suspect it has something to do with the barrel puzzle since I haven't found a switch up there. I have guided the second barrel all the way to the lit gate but got nothing. I am at a stopping point now until someone takes pity on me. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing in Tomb of Sparks, so I really can't do much else right now. :|

What you're doing is the goal. Make sure you drive the object directly onto the gate itself, not just near it.

I think there was a post somewhere else that explained what each switch does. That might help.

The way I did it was to step on the first and/or last switches to get the first letter as N and the last as O. Otherwise get the first O and the last N and then hit the second switch. Now hit the third switch until it is P. So you should have N_PO. Next hit the second switch to reverse the letters. Lastly, hit the third switch until it says E.
