If you have v1.5 of the game, get this patch! It could save you from restarting!

The bad news is that you have already visited a map that is changed by this patch, you will still be playing the old version until you restart your profile. The good news is, that doesn't matter unless you actually do end up getting stuck.

Changelist for v1.6:
-------------------
* lasers are invincible until you have Lightreaver
* reflections can no longer pretend to throw hammers
* one tile removed in Mirrors to prevent a fatal situation in upper laser puzzle
* removed glow effect on one path in the Cabin
* fixed tiles in round room of Flames
* added a yellow key that was missing (note: even if you have already visited where this is, you will still be able to get this key - however, it is VERY well hidden without the updated maps!)
* improved failure prevention in Sparks puzzle, lower-right, leftmost puzzle
* if you die while in an area with lights off or anything else special, the lighting gets reset to what it should be on respawn
* added an escape hatch to the problematic underhollow fight

Download it now, at http://hamumu.com/patches.php !

There is no patch for the demo, though you can re-download to get an updated version of it if you wish.

So does that mean when you die when you are you doing any puzzle, the puzzle resets so we never can get stuck again!? Yes! I've already had to restart the game and I got stuck in the Tomb of Spaks. Yay! So I don't have to restart?

Grrr- I install it into the Sleepless Hollow folder yet it says that Sleepless Hollow isn't installed there!!!!

You must have the shipped version of the game there (1.5), and make absolutely sure it is the right folder!

And no, Adrian, it doesn't mean that at all! You should probably re-read the post.

So, does that mean that not all of the puzzles can be reset?

The only word 'reset' in that entire post is in reference to lighting! No, no puzzles function any differently than they used to at all. They just have little tweaks to prevent the various fatal traps that people have encountered.

I found a couple things, not sure if they're errors or not, but I'll post them.

NOTE: These have nothing to do with the patch, I just thought it would be better to post bugs in this topic.

NOTE2: I have downloaded the patch onto my game.

1. In the Tomb of Sparks, While I was moving light posts around (I forget the name) I got stuck on one, and I couldn't move. Luckily, I made three posts bunched together, so they made electricity, and I died. (Eventually) However, if I had not made the three, I would have had to start over.

2. In the Tomb of Sparks, I got stuck in the puzzle just to the right of the entrance. (On the other side of the wall) I can't do anything to win the puzzle, as there are two posts at the very bottom, and there is one post in the circle. I looked around the area, but I found no reset switches. Do I have to start over? (NOTE: Due to my bad luck, I got stuck here JUST before downloading the patch)

3. This is just a minor thing, and I'm not really sure if it was intended. For the puzzle just north-west of the puzzle I just talked about, when you reset the puzzle, it plays the summoning effect. (Light, sound)

Getting stuck on posts should REALLY not happen, it's something I worked on many times... I guess there's still some circumstance! Retry will always be able to save you though (no need to wait to get killed).

I think #2 you just haven't solved.

#3 is intended.

1 and 3: Okay.

#2: There's one post in the circle, so I can't get it anywhere (Except around the circle over and over again, but that does nothing). The two posts near the bottom are right beside a wall, so I can't push it right and up. Is there a solution that I'm missing?

O.K. Thanks!
Oh, and Wesley, that's the same puzzle I got stuck on.

Augh, yes, I see what you did. You can't solve that now. It was only for candles, so you can still finish the game. Unless the path you pushed that post down (from the circle) was the left one, in which case you're fine.

I pushed it down the left path, so the water wall opened up, but I'm not sure if I can activate the switch now... Can I? If not, I'm going to start over. CAAAAAAANNNDLES.

EDIT: I don't know how I can reach the post in the water. I was going to buy a spring, and see if that worked, but I bought the cap by mistake! D'oh!

I found something odd in Temple of Sparks after downloading the patch. I was killed by a shocking horror, but when I restarted at the temple door I had only a fraction of life. Every other time I've died I've restarted with full life. Is that a bug?

Yeah, I bet he kept electrocuting you as you went through your death, right?

Also, in the puzzle where I died, (The puzzle right beside the area with the numbers) When a shock goes near the switch, it vanishes. It doesn't matter if it flies through the air, or it moves along the wall, it never makes it there. I've gotten as close as possible on both sides, but it always vanishes no matter what I do. One time I got near it, and it practically vanished as soon as it was summoned.

I finished the puzzles, and got the Sparkthrower, but I fell into another trap in the area south of the water wall. After I activated the unlit post around the water, I made a mistake, and now both posts are stuck against the wall, and there's no way to activate the switch. (I didn't know at the time that they had to be around the post that was on the unmovable floor) Is there any other way to get these candles?

Yeah, I bet he kept electrocuting you as you went through your death, right?I think so. This has happened to me twice -- both times I was killed with shocks.
