Sleepless Hollow: General Questions

I have made it to Horseradish Hill. The beast still lives, but I'll get him. Anyway, here are some questions.

1. Are there enough candles to buy everything Mr. Klein is selling?

2. My bonehead friend doesn't work very well. Sometimes he appears in places I didn't summon him, sometimes he won't appear at all when I try to summon him. This second one happens a lot in Tomb of Din. Nothing is in the way (like a wall or whatever). I just get an odd noise. I need him to get the hammer where the five bats are. Is there a bug here?

3. Tomb of Bones is very confusing to me. Why did I need to spark the leftmost O to get the candles? I had trouble reading the bones on the floor in the area where you step on the gray/aqua numbers. It looked like a math puzzle, but I'm not sure. I just tried until I got it right. What is that puzzle about?

4. What's up with the letter puzzle in Brayka Lake? I just kept trying until I got the pants, but I have no idea what that puzzle is about.

If I think of any more questions I'll add them later. Thanks! :mrgreen: BTW, I have all the magic hammers, in case that matters to any of the answers.

There are enough candles, yes.

Check your energy gauge - you can't summon without enough energy! Just like all the other hammers. Also, in the tomb of din, there's a fairly strong chance that the entire enemy list is completely full of beetles. Kill something to make room. For appearing in places you didn't put him - think back! He waits for you, you know (and of course, as you wandered around, you steered him too).
