I want to play this so i need to know where the rod is....
Any help?

I found the rod (right where I thought it might be, actually), but I haven't caught anything. Are you supposed to let it come back on its own, or press fire and get the message about "Nothing on the line"?

I got the rod then restarted my profile and now I have the rod but no fishing page in the journal.

I have caught 17 Brayka Bass so far, the largest of which was 25 pounds. That's a big bass! This must be a dumb fishing game, since I have to stop occasionally and throw a hammer at ... bait. I even snagged a zoid once! :p

Qwertybub, you can email me XXXX for a quick fix. Indeed it seems that that ability isn't taken away when you do a restart! You could always start a separate profile, but it would have its own goal list (the goals do merge on the website when you upload though - the upload never removes goals, just adds new ones you have).

EDIT: that's not right at all- for a fix, go to Back Roads, save your game, then email me "yourname.prf" and "yourname.000".
