i cant figure out the answer to the spelling puzzle thing in the tomb of bones, could some one give me a hint or answer?

There are two letter puzzles in Tomb of Bones, and there have been posts answering both. Which one are you talking about? There's a math puzzle and one that uses the first letters of each journal page (I I T T, etc.).
