Reflecting Pool?

How do I get passed the first brain and down to the bottom. Someone keeps falling in.

Hold CTRL while moving. The original will move 'n' shoot, but the copies will stay put. I think you need a hammer for this, though.

I think that was fixed in a patch. You just need to follow the path with all three.

But I can use the "blocks" to change the space between the guys. Do I need to keep doing this or keep them at the original spaces?

You need to do that several times.

ok - let's see if I can explain this:

make sure you stop for a second when the clones appear, to keep the spacing right. Then, turn toward the right side of the screen and walk on that path. One clone will get blocked by the wall on the south side of the path. Keep walking till you hit the wall ahead of you - let the second clone get right up as close to you as possible. Now walk back the way you came till the first clone hits the single block under the entrance. Walk a few steps until the two clones line up one above the other. You should be directly under one of the blocks beside the entrance. Turn and walk upwards. Your clones should both walk out of the pool area. Keep "walking" (even though you can't go anywhere) to make sure the clones are well gone. Now you're free to navigate the path to the bottom of the pool area.

There's a simpler way that doesn't involve getting the clones outside the area. Really, you can just follow the path. It tells you the only places you and your clones need to go.

ThanksSorry, I'm not Jen, but I'm answering anyway. This is probably one of the easiest things in the game. Maybe you think you have to use all of them in each area? Because that's the only thing I can think of that would make this difficult. I will post again with the correct settings for each area, but I can't think what the problem is unless you're trying to use them all. :???: And BTW, Janice's explanation will not get you anywhere as far as getting the hammer, so please forget it. I'm not kidding. You have to get your mirror reflections to a certain place in order to do what's needed.

I'm still stuck in the mirror room that you were trying to help me with. Can't move the two that are together.
I also got my reflections all the way through the paths, but nothing happened. Does it have anything to do with doing it the way Janice said to do first?

Hmm - I got the hammer just fine, without using my reflections at all, unless they inadvertantly did something while I couldn't see them.
Although I am having trouble with the pumpkin lock. Now that you mention it - it could be handy to have a partner or two in there....

and how do I I get a "budy" so that I can get by those pumpkin locks? That is where I am so stuck. I did the "have your reflections walk off and go solo". Is that my problem? Did I get busted for cheating?:twisted: Also, I flame-hammered the light post things in the area where there is water and got the red hammer. The other way was blocked by a wall. Did I get everything from in there?
