Welcome to Duck RPG


All the player gathered into the village square to here the newest update for the RPG. All of a sudden Admin Ducklegion ran towards the crowd. "They took it! They took it!" he screamed into the crowd. Everyone looked at Ducklegion in cofusion. "They took the game updates!" Ducklegion said. Everyone gasped, how would the experience new game play, gather new equipment, level up without new quests, how would they make new friends!? Everyone began to panic. "Why dont we just find the people who did it?" asked a player. Everyone agreed with the idea. So it has been declared, the players would try to find the evil doers known as The Mafia and get there game updates back!

Only two spots left, and so you know none of the mafia roles are specific people, they are just basic classes or races you would see in an RPG like a dwarf or something.

This game will be able to begin as soon as none of the players are involved in LL Mafia. That may or may not be at the end of LL Mafia.

There is no need to make people wait for PK's game to end. You and/or CG should start your games as soon as your players (and the host) are all available. Of course, that will be a while yet, since it is only day 1 in PK's game.

No, it was so the new players could have a chance to play for themselves without being dominated and so experienced players could play without 90% of the players in the game being lurkers and bandwagoners.

Actually, both reasons are valid. But the split doesn't have an effect until LL2 Mafia ends, as it is a joint game.

The purpose was so multiple games could be played at once; the criteria was along relative skill lines, because it seemed as good a criteria as any others. However, the split was intended to happen after the current game, since players from both leagues are in that game. Since it is only necessary for all the players to be unencumbered from their current games before starting, it may be possible for either the A1 or B1 game to actually begin before the LL game is over, if all of the appropriate people are killed. Certainly it will not be possible for both of them to start, and it may not be possible for either of them to start, if players from both teams are alive all the way to the end. It is up to the host to determine when all of the people are available (no longer alive in LL Mafia) and start their game. We want to have two games at once, but we don't want anyone to be playing in two games at once.

The only problem with starting the game after everyone is dead, is that the mafia will try and kill people playing in the game just to speed things up, (possibly) which isnt fair for the people playing in the current game.

Wouldn't they kill people in the current game anyway? After all, that is what the mafia are there for.

The mafia in this game might, but would have to give themselves up in order to start this game, which would in a way defeat the purpose.

This game will not start until all of the players are available, so end of discussion. It would be completely inappropriate to ruin someone else's game in order to start this one. At present, the following B League Players are still involved in the existing game:
