We get the detour, but that has no anime! There is Bionix on YTV on Friday nights, though!

I watch Bionix every Friday. I'd watch Bleach, Naruto, and FMA on our computer, but then I'd have nothing to look forward to all week.

Umm... What? There's lots of episodes online, and if the Anime producers were going to do something, they would have by now. They know, they just choose to not do anything.

EDIT: I was wondering, where do you live, ryts? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, I'm just curious.

Yeah, Robot Chicken is one of my favourite shows. I wish more episodes would come out soon...

Yeah, a lot of people watch shows in their computer. It's actually good for the prodoucers, because if people like the shows enough, lhey'll buy the DVDs.

Meh. I had a really high (103.5) fever for three days. OK, it was only 103.5 for around an hour on Tuesday, but still. And now I have a very nasty cough as a result. Last night, for around 15 minutes, I couldn't breathe without coughing! Literally every time I inhaled, I coughed instead of exhaling! Thank the big guy in the sky for cough medicine!

Absolutely unbelievable...

LOOK. You are extremely lucky you didn't get BANNED for that link.

IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO DOWNLOAD COPYRIGHTED VIDEO WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF THE CREATOR.

There is an outrageous amount of legal video that can be watched on the internet. Most television stations offer their recent shows on the internet now, free. Enjoy them. STOP STEALING PEOPLE'S WORK.

If you or anyone else posts another pirate link, you will be instantly banned - JUST LIKE IT SAYS IN THE RULES.

I make my living entirely from creating intellectual property and getting people to pay for it as opposed to steal it, which is of course trivial to do. I have absolutely NO tolerance for thieves, because if they had their way, I would be working at McDonald's. And all of YOU would not have games to play - ANY games. THINK THE TINIEST BIT BEFORE YOU ACT. Actions have consequences, and stealing is harmful.

In fact, yeah, here's your temporary ban so you can do some thinking about it.

Question: On Youtube, a lot of people tape TV shows and put them on Youtube. Is that copyright infringement, since they didn't ask permission?

Wesley

Oh... My... Gosh... So... Funny... I know this is bad to be posting just after Varkarrus was temp-banned, but there's a hilarious Death Note/Anime parody I found on Youtube. I nearly died laughing! I'd put it here, but I don't know how to direct link to full screen. (I posted this here, since it kinda seemed like an Animeish topic)

On the topic of the YouTube thing, I'm not sure...

Yes, those are illegal as far as I know. The problem is that there are so many of them.

However, I would think that it is illegal only if the copyright holder deems it to be illegal. If you look up RakeinGrass' Forums, you'll learn that the developers of Jets'n'Guns GOLD have pretty much given up on their game being sold for free in China. If you watch Part 1 of Steal This Film, you'll see how some major organisations in the world combat piracy (although most of it is about The Pirate Bay spelling out their end of the stick).

I'd really, really LOVE to watch Top Gear in Singapore, but I can't, so the next best thing is to go to the Top Gear website and watch their clips. If I see one of Jeremy Clarkson's car videos on sale, I might seriously consider buying it.

Yeah, Youtube removes 'em on request of the company that owns the copyright, or if it's flagged, I believe

And Wesley, was it Debu note? Or one of the Drawn ones (the comic ones)? Or the swimming lesson?

... WHAT?! he... and... with the... NOOOO!

and I also don't see how it's illegal to download something that you can watch for free on the television any time you want with dish network.

... wait... wow these laws are starting to get invalid. and by that I mean dumb in a stronger from that I don't think I am allowed to say.

When you watch shows on TV, you are A> paying for cable (or satellite), and B> watching commercials which they are getting paid for. That should be obvious.

If you have sky, its sometimes on Dave, which is channel 111.

Also, there is lots of anime on Anime Central, which is 199. (As a note to Varkarrus.)
See how much Sky can help you? Who needs pirate websites when you have Sky?

I don't know what those are, but it's not it. It's a parody of the second opening of Death Note. PM me if you want to watch it.

NOTE: If you prefer hilarious parodies to be more funny, it's better to watch the second opening first, then to watch the parody.

NOTE2: If you prefer general insanity to be funnier, just watch the parody first.

Yeah, i mean really, with an evil monopolising anime distributor who abuses the local law to gets cash, we are pretty much stuck.

But of course im not gonna want to disclose who they are here.

Hey, i mean its true, the law was amended soon after their scam extortions were brought to light.
And with no anime channel to get, we are pretty much stuck.

Luckily, i know how to not get in trouble.
