Points required

I am having trouble getting enough points in Challenge mode in places like the Vault, Violent eyes and Hidden Temple. I always seem to be just short of the required amount needed. Any ideas?

IIRC, every time you shoot it costs points, so try not to waste shots. Also, how long you take probably has an effect too.

Thanks. I have now completed the Vault and Violent Eyes on points and now trying to get out with the time remaining. Keep being a second short! I only need three stars to get into chapter 4, it is so frustrating.
