Well, I don't think it died at the end of the movie, probably some time after.
It must have died eventually, otherwise nobody would have come to pick up the video footage for the movie!:roll:

The monster can't die; If it's dead, then there would be no chance for hundreds of sequels and video games, like a certain other giant city-destroying water-dwelling monster.

I didn't vote because I haven't actually seen the movie yet.

You can always pull a Son of Cloverfield. Whoever made it, made another. Clone. The hand that reaches out of lava. Wounded, not dead. Etc.
