I'm currently watching Penn and Teller's profanity-ridden show, and they're pro-Wal-Mart. (I'll finish watching and see what reasons they give.) So why not a poll?

EDIT1: The national minimum wage is, what, 6.55 (per hour)? According to these guys, Wal-Mart pays an average $10.51 (per hour) "for full-time workers"...

EDIT2: Also according to these guys, Wal-Mart saves the average family more than $2,000 a year...

The 6,200 stores serve at least 127 million customers a week...

EDIT3: According to a guest on the show, Wal-Mart benefits sweatshop workers overseas by giving them much better jobs than alternative employment in the same country...

Minimum wage has increased to $7.40 an hour!
Unless that's only statewide...I haven't done any research. I figured that it would be everywhere in the US.

I can't find it! But it was 6.55 in 2007...

I guess it's an old show.

Wal-Mart is VERY evil... Its hard to explain everything without having a 3 page post... but If you listened to my Dad for half an hour you would know...

Just trust me on this... USE WALMART AS SPARINGLY AS BACON-FLAVORED CAKE. IF YOU WANT TO SAVE MONEY BUY IN BULK (At BJ's not Sam's Club, Sam's Club is owned by Wal-Mart)
