Yes :D And yeah, there's lots of inapproprate Furry-related pics on the 'net, giving Furries a bad image. Meh. I only really care for Yerf-type art anyway... well, mostly. -o.-o (Yerf = family-friendly/"clean", in case you were wondering)

I find the inter-species romance a little unnerving, but I just tell myself that the fox was once an actual girl who got changed by some magical forest creatures in a mischievous mood.

Don't worry, I believe not many people have; "Taur" is a subculture of Furry Fandom and not that prominent on the net. The concept is to "fuse" centaurs with anthropomorphic animals, resulting in a character that's both partially humanoid (with arms and such) and quadrupedal :D (I'm normally not that enthusiastic about Taur personally, though it's interesting -o.-o)
Im scared.

I meant 4 legs in combination with 2 arms. Having your entire body follow a single line means that you can sit down in relativly small space, and means (depending on the exact biology) you can climb stairs.

Meh. I imagine having the awesomeness of quadrupedalism while still being able to use two arms for stuff without being at a disadvantage would be rather cool. (The one thing that annoys me when I'm walking on all fours is that I can't use my hands the way I normally would since I need them to walk on)
EDIT:
I can't stop. It's like a car wreck. You don't want to look, but you do.
Do you complain about the car wreck? Seriously, if I was in your place, I'd just stop before I risk possibly offending someone (e.g. me). -o_-o

As I said in my post below the one with the sculpture (that was also deleted for no reason), although animals technically wouldn't need clothes, female anthropomorphic animals (or Taurs, therefore) who aren't wearing clothes do seem a bit risque (at least if they have... feminine features).
Perhaps I'll become a furry in a later life.

Lots of game creators put animal-people in their games nowadays with the intent of getting Furries to play them, though; it doesn't have to mean they're Furries themselves, they may just be trying to attract the attention of a broader audience.

10-16-2008, 01:09 PM
"Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo" is grammatically correct.
EDIT: Explanation. The first buffalo refers to the place- in America. The second is refering to the noun / animal. This is basically saying buffalo (the animal) from Buffalo (the place) without any other words. The next buffalo is a verb. "to buffalo" is kind of like to push around, etc... and the last buffalo again refers to the animal. So its saying cattle-y things from a ?state? push cattle-y things around.

Hm... I remember reading about some Furry comic series about a panda girl where anthropomorphic animals were used to portray people of different nationalities, and the Native Americans (I think) were anthropomorphic buffalos/American Bisons. Don't remember the name of that comic, though, and I believe it contains adult themes.

some of them can't take a little joke
That can be said for a lot of people, really, and it depends on the individual and their sense of humour, not what subculture they may belong to. I'm very well able to take a joke, personally, as long as it's tasteful. (Mindless Furry-hate, however, I have no understanding for. Heck, most people probably couldn't even name a reason why they'd hate Furries; it's not like the Furries ever did anything to anyone.)
