It's been discovered, to the great embarrassment of the scientific community, that a second is actually 27.5 milliseconds slower than an actual second.

Well maybe if it had more Bawls regularly [as part of a wholesome nutritious breakfast], the caffiene and sugar would speed it up. That's mah mynd's logik, anyway.

Time IS broken, but not for the reasons you mentioned. Ive been trying to tell you all on the chat for months... but no one would listen... NO ONE! *twitch*

Actually, a year is a little less than a year, so they have leap-years. They also have leap seconds, and if a remember correctly, we had one last "year".

How can a second be less than a second? That statement is self-inconsistent. Do you mean that some measurement has been made more accurately than before which shows that something which used to take a second now takes slightly less? Surely a second is essentially an arbitrary unit of time. And time flows in a non-linear way sometimes, does it not?
