Since Varkarrus isn't running his, I'll post sign-ups for the next one...

The idea of Champions is that everybody is a character on a 10x10 grid, and fights to the death to be the lone survivor! Every character has four moves, and is limited by a resource (Read previous Champion games to get an idea of the game).

Right now, just sign up! You'll get to make your own cards again, but (as usual) I'll be attempting to balance them, and there'll be rules about it. But don't make cards yet!

Why? Because I'm not going to just pick the first people to sign up; The people who actually get in the game will be randomly chosen from among those who signed up within the first 24 hours, to give all time zones a chance.

So get signing! There's eight slots!

Now, you can make your class cards! You have 48 hours from this post to do that. I'll try to balance them afterwards. Just post them in this topic as a text version, listing class name, moves, resource, and color.

Character Making Rules:
1) Your character must have four moves and a resource (like mana or rage).
2) You must also pick a color for your piece on the game board! You can't have the same color as somebody else.
3) Move and resource descriptions can't be super-long, because I have to fit them in those little text boxes!
4) The following move types are illegal: Summons, heals, mind control, moves that hit every player, teleports (although moves that increase/decrease speed are allowed now),
5) Class names must be one word long, and must be Halloween themed! As in, things like vampires and pumpkins and werewolves. :p So no things like ''Mime'', ''Belkar'', or ''Martian''; They're scary, but not Halloween themed! If somebody's already using a name, you can't use it either (or anything extremely similar), although you may use names from previous games.
6) Everybody has 4 speed.
7) Everybody has 8/8 HP.

Hot Feet (-1 Rage): +1 speed, and for next round, run over people.*
Bomb (0 Rage) Place bomb on spot, 2 damage to anyone 2 blocks away next round, excluding player.
Asplode (-2 Rage): Lose one HP, and 3 damage to anyone within 3 squares from player.

*Running over people gives one damage to them.

EDIT: How many blocks can you move depending on the speed?

Octopus (based on Octopus from PWNZOR WOMD. Cthulhu is Halloweeny, right?)
Color: Purple
Resource: Rage
Tentacle Whip (+1 Rage) 2 damage, 3 range.
Tentacle Wrap (-2 Rage) 3 damage, 2 range. Target blocked from movement next turn.
Sponge (-2 Rage) 1st turn - Absorbs damage. 2nd turn - fires back at 4 range.
Move 4: ?

How about:

Ink Jet:

0 Damage, 5 range, -3 rage.
"Blinds" the target, causing him to move randomly and attack random enemies. He can still choose how many times he moves 1 square, and how far he attacks. Lasts 1 turn.

Optional: He shouldn't be able to see the map instead, but can still choose coordinates.

EDIT:

As a suggestion, how about if he gets hit by a bomb, he will automatically asplode, but will drain 2 rage. Chain reactions FTW!

Move 2: Shadow Rain: (-1 MP) 3 seperate 1 damage attacks (4 Range)

Move Two: Madness (+2 MP) Steal two resources from target. (2 range)

Move Three: Evil orb (0 MP) Deal 2 damage to target. (3 range)

Alright, making cards! I can't upload right now (I have to finish up my winter break homework), but here's the changes to the cards:

Pumpkin (Redbone)

Changes:
-I made the color a light-ish orange, because you couldn't see the dark orange pumpkin-head very well against a normal orange.
-Changed from Boomkin to Pumpkin.
-Hot Feet is a normal 'lunge' attack, since you can't walk through players. It gives a lot of lunge, though.
-Cost of Darken changed; You could just hide forever!
-Cost of Hot Feet changed, so there's a way to gain rage.
-Darken can only be used up to twice in a row (which I'm doing with all hides). This is to prevent somebody from hiding for ten rounds. :p Note that you can use the move twice in a row... Just not more than that!
-Asplode costs more health, costs less rage, and does less damage.
-His picture is more of a ''Pumpkin Man'' because everybody should look similar!

Ghost (Hammer Up!)

Changes:
-I'm not sure if Hammer Up intended to make Fear like the Necromancer's version from last game. I just made it like Rage, since that's what his character seemed to be most like.
-Boo! only gives 1 Fear.
-Float Away can't be used more than twice in a row, like all other hides.
-Scare does a little more damage, knocks back further, and cancels the target's Lunge.
-Haunt instead lasts as long as the user is alive and does 2 damage/turn instead.

Scarecrow (Kerma)

Changes:
-Fear renamed to Terror, since Hammer Up is already using a resource with the same name that doesn't act the same.
-Fear Gas does more damage, but can't be used twice in a row. Kerma didn't specify a range, so I gave it a range of 1.
-Crow Swarm gives a little bit of Terror back if it kills.
-Sprint was changed, because 1) it's kind of useless, 2) it only encourages running away, and 3) since when has a scarecrow sprinted? It's been replaced by a move that prevents the target from walking.
-Extract Fear prevents user from moving and does a some damage. Seriously, it means you get 3 Terror in the same turn! That's almost enough to fill up your entire resource. :p

Tree (SpaceManiac)

Changes:
-The card is actually very dark grey rather than black, just because it was impossible to make dead black branches against a black background. :p
-Trip only works if the person walked/lunged last turn. You can't trip a person standing still, can you?
-Smack has much less range, because ''Smack'' doesn't make very much sense when it's not a melee attack. It does more damage, though.
-Leaf Shield renamed to Harden, since dead trees don't have leaves.
-Eyeball of Doom also hits user, since area-of-effect moves are so powerful.

Reaper (Hyperme)

Changes:
-Reap COSTS souls, rather than the reverse! It will give an extra soul if it kills, though. It also does more damage.
-Reaping Shot has longer range.
-Soul Rush instead gives a bunch of lunge ending in an attack, depending on souls spent. Soul Rush must hit an enemy, so it can't be used to run away. X has a minimum value.
-Sin Harvest does 1.5 times damage instead of 1 times. (So you can spend 4 Souls and deal 6 damage, or 5 souls and deal 7). The move paralyzes the user, though. Sin Harvest does not have a minimum value. After using Sin Harvest, you do not gain any Souls.

Zombie (Cheeselord)

Changes:
-Zombie starts with 1 Brain.
-Eat Brains only gives a brain if it hits. Eat Brains is a melee attack.
-Super Zombie also gives invulnerability. Super Zombie cannot be used twice in a row. Note that if you're hidden and do a self-damaging move, you'll still take that damage!
-BRAAAAAINS is now a super-move... And combined with Super Zombie, it's an instant kill!

Octopus (PurpleKoopa)

Changes:
-Tentacle Wrap has longer range.
-Made a fourth move: Insanity Wave! A very interesting super-move... Death and destruction that the user is protected from!

Shadow (Connor S)

Changes:
-Renamed Shadow to fit the theme.
-Color is changed to Aqua, since somebody already had Blue.
-Resource is Mana.
-Dark Cloud is changed to a normal hide, since it's so overpowered. It can't be used twice in a row and costs much more, since the character starts out with tons of resources.
-Shadow Rain changed to Dark and Stormy, since ''Shadow Rain'' doesn't make much sense. It slows down its victims by 1.
-Madness is instead just a melee attack that prevents mana-users from using mana next turn (note that things that are identical to mana, such as souls, brains, and terror, count as mana), and the move doesn't work on rage/cooldown users. The original version was too ridiculously mean to certain characters (like the ones using Rage or Cooldowns) while too nice to others (the mana-users). It also costs resources instead of giving them.
-Evil Orb does less damage, so it's the same level of power as the Reaper's version.

Murderer (Varkarrus)

Changes:
-Name shortened to a sane length.
-Scruffinator instead gives rage, and does 1 damage immediately when cast (in addition to the damage-over-time).
-Flank does 2 damage, but does an extra 2 damage if target doesn't hit user.
-Flank costs Rage.
-God of War is now a super-move; It hits multiple targets in melee range for immense damage.
-Bide doesn't enhance defense, but it can give a lot of rage. It also costs some rage to cast.

Thanks. I was trying to think of something sanity related, since it is a cosmic horror, but couldn't come up with anything that wasn't random or another block move...

Round 1A (Move!)

In Halloween Land, all of the various spooky characters were plotting how next October's events would go. It was going to be the apocalypse, after all, and it needed a lot of planning!

Everybody agreed that there had to be some head planner, to oversee the end of the world. Obviously, since Halloween characters are mean and evil, they all wanted that position, so they could gloat about how they led the apocalypse!

The monsters all decided to be civilized and decide on the head planner through threats, violence, blackmail, and assassination. The battle has begun!

It is now Round 1A! Tell me what path you take! DON'T SEND ME COORDINATES; Send me the actual directions! (Like ''North, North, East, North''). This is so that, if two people try to move to the same spot, they just get bumped back a square rather than back where they started.

24 hour deadline! Those who don't send anything lose 1 HP, so always tell me where you're going, even if you're not moving.

EDIT: And yes, I'm aware that the map has some errors on it (the ghost's icon has white text and the murderer's icon has ''MUR'' instead of ''MU''), but I'll fix that next round.

Round 1B (Attack!)

Many of the ferocious monsters in the north-eastern corner decided that it was too scary to be in the crowd of hostile beasts. Unfortunately, when they attempted to escape west, so did the rest of the crowd!

Some people in the south attempted to run north and get into the chaos. PurpleKoopa and Connor S bumped into each other in the process, sending them back a space.

Varkarrus had fallen asleep, and failed to move anywhere! He got scary nightmares and took 1 damage.

Round 1B (Attack!)

The first round of attacks began!

Hyperme burned up all of his magic to create a huge orb of necromantic magic! ONOS, that reaper is going to harvest somebody's soul! Hyperme threw the orb into Cheeselord! Ouch! 6 damage! CL's already almost dead. However, Hyperme's not very lucky either; He's paralyzed!

SpaceManiac decided that he wanted to get rid of this menace, so he smacked at Hyperme with some branches. Ouch! It seems CL and Hyperme are the ones who are the least lucky after this round.

Cheeselord and Varkarrus formed the ''Let's Not Do Anything'' club, where they sat around.

The Scarecrow and the Pumpkin attacked one another! The Scarecrow did more damage, but the Pumpkin has more rage...

Connor S made a dark and spooky cloud, which rained on several people. PK, Hammer Up, and SpaceManiac got all wet, which made them a little slower!

PurpleKoopa got revenge, though. He whacked at Connor S several times with his spooky otherworldly tentacles of doom!

Hammer Up was being lazy and failed to send anything. While he's sleeping, a mad scientist walks up and zaps him, attempting to wake Hammer Up so he can enter the battle again.

Sorry about not updating yesterday, but here we go!

Round 2B (Attack!)

Varkarrus pulled out a white kitty from behind his back and threw it at Hammer Up! Since everybody knows cats don't like ghosts, the cat started clawing at Hammer Up! ONOS, damage-over-time!

Hammer Up, in revenge, applied his own damage-over-time to Varkarrus!

PurpleKoopa picks up Varkarrus and wraps him in horrifying otherworldly tentacles. Varkarrus became stuck!

Kerma launches crows at Redbone! Redbone drops a bomb. ONOS!

Connor S vanishes into thin air! SpaceManiac tried to attack him, but then realized two things: 1) His cooldown for Smack wasn't done yet, and 2) Connor was hidden!

Hammer Up tried to run four spaces; However, since he was wet, he only succeeded in running three before slipping.

And then the violence happened! Several people made PM mistakes, it seems, and somebody died! ONOS!

Varkarrus threw a cat at Connor S! PurpleKoopa bashed Connor with tentacles!

EDIT: Then the host realized that PK was too far away, so Connor miraculously lost the damage. Oops!

Connor S got mad, so he made it rain on Varkarrus, Redbone, and Hyperme! Redbone quickly hid, avoiding the slowing rain, but Varkarrus and Hyperme weren't so lucky.

SpaceManiac SMACK'd Hyperme into oblivion! Hyperme died! He was just standing still.

Kerma started to absorb fear from the air itself! For some reason, he tried to target Hammer Up with this move, even though it required no target (maybe he was trying to fear gas? Sorry if you were, Kerma! You couldn't have afforded that move anyways, though. Remember everyone, to check what move you're sending and how much resources you have before trying to cast something!).

But Kerma shouldn't be too unhappy, because for some reason, Hammer Up tried to move during an attack round, plus with the directions sent he would have lept off the edge of the world if he succeeded. It seems that making-PM-mistakes are contagious!

Varkarrus was suddenly attacked by ghosts, because he was HAUNTED and Hammer Up wasn't dead! Luckily for him, he narrowly survived.

And then everybody heard a horrific ROAR as suddenly, the formerly uninteresting and formerly weak Cheeselord morphed into some sort of obscene monstrocity! Limbs sprouted where no limbs should be! His decayed muscles bulged and grew over five times as large! ONOS! Cheeselord is a SUPER ZOMBIE! AAAAAGH!

People moved!

Hammer Up and Varkarrus failed to send anything. Abandoned Soviet spy satellites fell from the sky and landed on them, each dealing 1 damage. This was too much for the highly damaged Varkarrus, and he died! Varkarrus died! The murderer's cat vowed to avenge him!

Round 4B (Attack!)

Attack round!

Hammer Up BOO'd at whoever was closest. Unfortunately, two people were closest, so Captain Random-Number-Generator had to intervene. Connor was hit for 2 damage!

PurpleKoopa wrapped Hammer Up up with his tentacles and crushed him! (NOTE: Hammer Up is really on G2, which is why that hit... I posted that on an earlier map but forgot to keep it in the parentheses next to Current Map).

Connor S focused his inner evil into an orb-shape and threw it at Kerma for 1 damage. In revenge, Kerma unleashed a horde of crows! Connor was pecked to death!

Redbone, seeing that the Super Zombie was about to chomp him, attempted to escape! However, he had forgotten two key facts; 1) Lunging doesn't let you 'dodge' attacks, and 2) the move Hot Feet has to hit an enemy. Cheeselord chomped him, dealing FOUR damage and filling up a little of CL's braaaaains meter! Redbone was devoured!

SpaceManiac didn't do anything.

People moved... to the far corners of the earth so everybody's out of range of everybody else.

Coolguy got mad and decided to start shrinking the world at incredible speed! It is a NEW MOVE ROUND! And the world is now shrinking at 2 spaces from each side a turn until only 2 are left. (Yes, that's right, TWO. Not just one.)

However, Hammer Up wasn't fast enough; He'd just been running straight to the west, and ended up falling over the northern edge of the world as it shrank! HAMMER UP DIED!

Cheeselord grows many times in size, becoming a Super Zombie!

PurpleKoopa turns into a sponge! SpaceManiac smacks him, but it's ineffective, due to the sponginess of PK.

The tree is then attacked by a cloud of crows. Ouch! Those people are quite dangerous, even with so little health.

The world shrunk further! Everybody evaded it, though.

Kerma didn't send a PM, so in a flash of light, he disintigrated. D'oh! Kerma died

This would be an interesting round! PK was charged full of spongey energy! Cheeselord is ferocious and super-zombie-tastic!

Now that the map is too ridiculously small for anybody to run away any more, there won't be any more shrinkage.

FINAL ROUND

Cheeselord ran over to SpaceManiac and ate his BRAAAAINS! SpaceManiac died! Cheeselord tripped over his corpse. Then PurpleKoopa came over and beat CL up with his tentacles. Cheeselord died too!

PurpleKoopa wins! SpaceManiac and Cheeselord tie for second. Kerma gets third.

Yes! Now that I rule Halloween Land, it's time to get started on the other holidays... (http://www.irregularwebcomic.net/1793.html) I got a bit worried in that last round. I thought CheeseLord was going to run off and turn into a Super Zombie. But he didn't! I really like playing Champions because I have the freedom to make my own character like people used to do for PWNZOR. But there is more strategy involved the actual game than PWNZOR, so characters don't get killed off instantly. Thank you Coolguy for hosting, and everyone else for playing!
