I think that if you complete a level with x points, then you complete it again with y points, then you should get an extra y-x points if y>x. Basically, I think that people should get points based on their best performance rather than their first performance.

What do you guys think?

What I think is that that is exactly how the game works! So I am in favor of it.

Really? It seemed to me like you only got points for your first finish and for going up in the high scores/times list, where you got extra points based on how many places you moved up rather than the actual increase in score.

No, if that were the system it would be best to start really bad and then slowly work up. Your total score is just the sum of your top scores on every level you've beaten.
