The B League Shaving

The B league needs to be made smaller, so if you are in the B league, and ACTUALLY PLAY, post here, and then you will be re-added, so people who just played once then left can be kicked out of the ever expanding list. I play, so Im first.

Obviously I haven't been watching the progress of Mafia on the forum all too closely as of late, but I still feel that the B league is not too large.
What exactly is the problem? Are too many people signing up for games? I'd have thought that, with the number of lurkers around, there wouldn't be enough players for many games.
Everyone who starts playing mafia is put in the B league: a system that I think is more than fair. Although I do believe that the capitalisation of mafia on the forum has got a bit out of hand and perhaps we should elt the game die down a bit, rather than continuing to constantly have games running, one after the other. What good does it do?

It does the good of giving us something fun to do all the time... what's the downside? Sign up when you fell like playing, don't sign up when you don't. Of course there should always be a game running! As long as there are people interested in playing one, that is. If there aren't, then of course no game would happen.

But yes, B league is everybody who hasn't advanced to A league. Anybody can play in a B league game, and there's nothing wrong with that. If there is trouble with lurking and such, hosts need to get proactive about it. I'm very aggressive with lurking in my games, it's easy to do. Just quickly dispose of those who aren't actually playing, so the players can have some fun!

If you aren't in the A-League, you are in the B-League by default. It doesn't make much sense to remove people from the B-League list.

Having the inactive players grayed out is sufficient. It is handy to have the list contain the names of everyone who has ever played, in case someone wants to send out invitations to known players for a large game.
