Without any fanfare (except this fanfare), I am unveiling the beta version of Dumb Pack! Go get it for a measly $4.95! You do have to have the Creator's Pass already, though. If you're wondering what's not done yet (besides there surely being many lethal bugs):

- No new background image
- 5 empty tile spots still
- many many sound effects missing (specifically, I've made none at all)
- no awards implemented
- Only one training level so far
- It (intentionally) won't allow you to upload levels that contain Dumb Pack stuff yet

Probably obvious, but I have a silly question: one doesn't need the Winter Pack to play Dumb Pack levels, right? :p [The upgrades don't have to be sequential, right?]

You only need the Winter Pack for levels that use Winter Pack items. Both can be combined in one level, then that level would require both.

If you grab a colored roof as the HSN and it vanishes, you will still stay in air

It seems that the Bodzha sometimes stops slightly too far from Bouapha, and aimlessly claws at the air.

Also, batteries seem to be able to send electricity up 2 tiles into another battery when they discharge. ie, there's a battery, then an empty tile above it, then a second battery: the second can still be charged by the first.


Oh, and because I haven't said already, HOORAY DUMB PACK!

EDIT: Oh, and Batteries discharge on the fourth charge, not the fifth as it says in the editor.

Oh and using the space bar isn't letting me shoot hammers up-left, down-left, or down-right even though pressing the Z key will. Pressing the space bar is letting me shoot in any other direction, even up-right.

I'm not having that problem; I can fire fine using space.

EDIT: Using "get" on non-top cliffside doesn't work. Similarly, using "get" on top water doesn't work.

Qwertybub, that's a standard keyboard issue - some combinations of 3 keys won't work, depending on your particular keyboard. So that, you'll just have to live with! Your keyboard isn't physically capable of sending the signals for all those particular keys at once.

Try using the penguins rotation from under water instead of the current yerf dog one as its much smother!

On HSN training, you should put something about how to wall jump.
HSN's Dive doesn't work.
If you play one of the other training levels, then play HSN or Yerfdog training, the text from the training level you played will be imported into the HSN/Yerfdog training level.

I have discovered a bug! When you click on the Dumb Pack icon in CP, it switches to the Techno background on the main menu, but if you go to play a level and come back, it's the Winter background! This only applys (I think) if you have Winter and Dumb Pack.

hehe, well I actually never designed Winter Gale N. Training to be a way to get an award specifically, I just designed the level by putzing around with stuff and testing how a near total mix of winter and dumb packs would work.(Aside from bats, Hence nearly)
Heck, only after finding out how you get lightweight ninja did I notice you could get it from it. I don't have any specific goal when I create a level, I just make what comes to mind.

I'm just happy a level of mine was mentioned out of the now 1000+ levels.:mrgreen:

I was kinda non-existant here for a while......I joined in '05 if that's any hint, but I've returned from the forum graveyard to post and make levels!

That can't be. The flower was the only impossible to get-item when the DP was in beta stage and Yerftastic was the only award.
