Get A Record Time On My Level!

Now that I have your attention, I posted a level called "Spider, Crow, NINJA!"

The person who gets the highest lowest time wins 20 Y$. There is no second place. This contest will end on Sunday.

Aargh! This level is so hard, yet I just have to win it, and I don't even care about the contest!

EDIT: YESSSSSS!!!!! WHOOO! Nowhere near as good as Jamul's though. Wins: 1/40

1/4 for me. But I had a lot of practice from making the level.

I saw some really high times and I'm not even sure how you'd live long enough to earn them! So I think some people are going a different way than I did. Here are my tips:

- The second it starts, drop down and head out, then do a wall jump off of the wall to your left. That will pop you out into the air perfectly in time to land on the blue platform, then run left.

- Head up the left side in the usual way, stopping when you get to the darkness with the twin sparkers. Wait until they are blocked... the first time I did this, I was actually able to run right through when they got blocked, but every time I tried since, they'd come on too early. I'm not sure what the trick is, but I got 17s without running straight through, so when they get blocked, just drop down and run forward a bit then hide! Once they are blocked again, you run off to the final ascent.

- For the last part it's just timing. Run forward and hide quickly. The hide happens really fast, so you can come really close to getting hit. You'll have to learn exactly when to start hiding. It takes maybe 5 or 6 hides to get to the end.

I think I may have had a major advantage in all this, because all the lasers and sparks slowed my computer way down. If it's running full speed on yours, you will have a tougher time!
