The 1st H.C.T. (Hamumu Chess Tournament) Signups!

A Chess tournament, right here on the Hamumu Forums! Anybody who wants to participate, post here. You should also post your skill level, so I can match you with players closer to your skill level.

Skill Levels:
Newcomer
Beginner
Intermediate
Expert
Master

The Rules:
Games will be given a time limit if they are moving too slowly.
If a player will be unable to play for a period of time, PM me and I will put that game on hold.
In the event of a stalemate, a coin will be flipped to see who will be the winner- white being heads and black being tails.
Moves are to be posted in Chess Notation:

Pawn moves: the destination square (Ex: e4, d5, etc.)
Knight moves: the destination square with an N before it. If both knights can move to the same space, but the file letter after the N (Ex: Ne4, Nab6)
Bishop moves: Same as Knight moves, but with a B instead of N. (Ex: Bb3)
Rook moves: Same as Knight moves, but with a R instead of N. (Ex: Ra3, Rac4)
Queen moves: Same as Knight moves, but with a Q instead of N. (Ex: Qe7)
King moves: Same as Knight moves, but with a K instead of N. (Ex: Kc1)
Captures: The starting square X The destination square (Ex: e4Xd5, Na3Xb5)
Castles: Kings side castle: O=O; Queen's side castle: O=O=O
Check: + after the move (Ex: Qe7+)
Checkmate: ++ after the mvoe (Ex: Qe7++)

Wow... Alot of people I thought would be good at chess are beginners.

Maybe it would help if I posted a description of the ranks?

Newcomer: Knows how to play chess, but hasn't played that much.
Beginner: Knows how to play, and knows some strategy. Has played a couple games.

I don't really fall into any of those categories. I've played hundreds of games, and I've lost almost all of them. I wouldn't say my strategy is any good.

By the way, by strategy I mean openings and endgames such as the Four Knights game and such, in addition to overall game strategy.

I should probaly explain how the matchups will work, as I didn't explain it too well before, so...
You will be put with somebody from your skill level, or if nobody is in that skill level, somebody near your skilll level. If the players have different skill levels, the person with the lower skill level gets to choose if they wish to be white or black. If you win your game, you move on to the next round. If you lose, you can still play against the others who have lost.
