I'm surprised by how much time some of you guys spend on your computers, especially as most of you surely have to go to school and sleep, etc.:|

I tend to spend a few hours a day during the week, and maybe a bit more at the weekend, but I'm slowly beginning to realise that there is more to life that games and the Internet.

That's the natural process of maturing, which is vastly different from ageing. Get used to it.

Also, we have alot of spare time so we can stay on the computer for over 12 hours. Also, I'm a computer addict.

I'm not healthy either but I don't spend as much time on the comp as you guys, merely two hours, but my parents and sisters think that even that is too much

Threads are strange aren't they, we started this thread with the discussion of a particular member's mother joining Hamumu and now we're talking about how much time we spend on our computers.

That's the way threads used to be on Hamumu :P. They'd start on one topic, but, like conversations, quickly move away.

The thread got cut and it has been moved to TM.

Bit of a shame really, as I think it's quite nice to just wander off-topic and end up having a conversation about something completely different.

Anyway, I'm not sure how most of you interpretted my previous post, but what I meant was that it's surely impossible (and not at all good for your vision) to spend 12-14 hours each day on your computers. Like I mentioned before, sleep and school are compulsory sections of a child's life.
And the other thing I was saying was that Spring is upon us (for those in the Northern hemisphere) so we should all be getting outdoors and such, getting some good ol' fresh air. I, for instance, have taken up photography.

I've taken up walking as an exercise; I take a forty-minute walk to and from the park once a week.

I set my computer to turn off if I try using it for ten hours a day.

So far I haven't hit that limit.
Though I don't even think it would be possible to reach that with school, unless if I woke up extra early to get on in the morning aswell...

EDIT: I walk around various parks on the week ends.
Last week I went around a lake twice(Once saturday, once sunday)
This week I'm going to find all the GeoCache's in a park near my house, since I have already found one there.

10 hour mark?!
I don't even get past 1 hour while on the computer mainly because I'm mostly outside playing my head off until I collapse on the ground and start panting, then I come inside and its nearly bed-time so I come online for a little while and then eat dinner and go to sleep. Huzzah!

Yes.... I currently have issues with moving.
Hope to get myself back outside by the end of the month(No, that doesn't mean today). I miss running....
But Ido still walk around alot. So it's not like I'm being totally lazy...

And as I mentioned, I never reach the time limit. Not even on weekends, when I'd have the time to.
