hey. i havent been on in a while, BUT I HAVE TO TELL YOU SOMETHING.
Go to google image search.
Search "awsum face"
And look at the first image.
THAT IS A STILL, FROM A GIF I MADE.
I AM (slightley) FAMOUS!

How does that make you famous, though? Searching for "Beta Reticulus" in Google brings up my website and I'm still not famous -o_-o (Okay, actually I am, but not because stuff I made can be found through a search engine. Google uses search spiders that automatically add stuff to their search database thingy, so it's fairly natural that things you upload will eventually be able to be found via Google if people search for the right terms.)

I looked up Ubernoob, and I found a tonne of stuff, only one of which was about me, the fourth screen in. Some of it looks pretty disreputable, too: one Ubernoob cracked some program, another is talking about growing marijuana. There guys are not me, I swear! I'm the innocent, family-friendly Ubernoob.

It does take some work to come up first on more popular search terms, however.

A tip if you want to get higher rankings: Google rates things prodominately according to link popularity (how many sites link to yours). You can actually check LP if you have the Google toolbar, just add the Page Rank button onto the toolbar. It more or less rates LP on a 1-10 scale.
