A terrorist organization made of Irish, Islamic, and Anti-American extremists known as Man’s Last Chance of Redemption, or MLCR, broke into a UN chemical vault in a classified location and stole a sample of an experimental modified virus the UN has described as “terrifyingly powerful if they can activate it”. International armed forces from all UN countries have been sent to find and retrieve the sample. Suspicious individuals that may be associated with this organization should be reported to the government at their website mlcr.com, or their hotline 1-800-REP-MLCR.

The MLCR, a terrorist organization that earlier this month broke into a government vault and stole a highly deadly virus sample, has now sent letters to the President of the United States, Prime Ministers of Britain and Canada, and various other UN leaders, reading “The virus is armed and dangerous. We will unleash it and purge the world if you do not comply to this simple demand; transfer the power over your nations to our superior leadership capabilities. You will have until September 26 to comply with our demands.” The UN government has released information saying that the letters contained both a sample of the virus and a sample of the activating agent. Both were immediately safely destroyed. The UN government is also said to be developing either a vaccine or an antidote to the virus.

August 30, 2009 Protesters line the streets of Washington D.C., demanding that files relating to the virus stolen by the extremist group MLCR, said to be “deadly” and the results of its spread would be “devasting to mankind”. The protesters claim they want to be ready if it is released, and want to know symptoms, details of how it is spread, and how efficiently it kills humans. Similar protesters have been seen in smaller amounts in London, Paris, Beijing, and many other UN cities. The President’s response was “I would like to know too. I did not even learn of the existence of this project until the virus was stolen. I still do not have access to the files.”

The United States Army has reported that they have located and raided a MLCR research camp. They learned of the camp in an arial recon mission aimed at locating an Al Queda camp where it was rumored Osama bin Laden resided. However, they stumbled on the camoflouged MLCR camp. They sent a team of soldiers in to raid the camp. The soldiers reported that most operatives in the camp were dead, and the rest appeared violently ill. The soldiers then sent in a hazardous operations team which extracted the samples of the virus.

Researchers for the UN reported today that the virus samples recovered from a MLCR camp had been modified. The researchers do not yet know what the modification’s effects are, but “they cannot be to our benefit as a collective human race.” They have finally let files out saying that the virus hijacks the immune system and skin as fuel, then directly attacks the victim’s brain, causing the victim to develop AIDS-like symptoms along with blisters and rashes, followed by headaches, then depression, then delirium, and finally insanity. The virus, known as UCA-12, can kill a victim in half a day.

The dreaded date has finally arrived. The UN has not shown any signs of surrendering to the MLCR, who has recently taken to burning research facilities that may be studying the prevention or cure of UCA-12. However, a man, presumably a leader of MLCR codenamed “Ucas Aves”, or “UCA Saves”, has said “We see the governments of the UN, stubborn and corrupt as they are, have refused our commands. However, we will not yet release the UCA virus, as we have discovered the potential to modify it to do more than purify humanity, it will give humanity the chance to become beings with far more potential than ever before.” It is also known from leaked and looted MLCR documents that MLCR views themselves as benevolent saviours and the current world government and all its “followers” as corrupt, and supports a pseudo-tyrannical government where they lord over all other humans as “divine leaders”.

MLCR has raided the small Russian village of Czecloavia and is holding its inhabitants hostage. It is feared by the general populace and by the UN that they intend to test their current model of the now-infamous UCA-12 on the inhabitants of the town. According the the UN, the best case scenario is the terrorists are killed and the worst case scenario is that the village is infected and then some inhabitants, terrorists, or contaminated objects leave the town, spreading the lethal and mysterious virus.

In accordance to everyone’s worst fears, the MLCR, using hijacked and modified water cannons attatched to stolen private airplanes, sprayed the deadly UCA-12 virus on the inhabitants of the village of Czecloavia yesterday. According to sattellite recon, every inhabitant in the town was dead within 32 hours. The government’s response to the controversy surrounding their uninvolvement was that they had, using sattellite recon, spotted terrorists placing land mines suspected to contain the virus.

Today, a British raid in a presumed drug dealer’s den located in a small town north of London revealed something much more sinister; a MLCR research laboratory. The researchers, armed with semi-automatic pistols, threatened the SAS squad. Knowing a single misplaced bullet could result in a leak of the lethal UCA-12 virus, the squad retreated and slipped a flash-bang grenade into the room, then promptly executed all the stunned scientists. However, the lead scientist, who was in another room at the time, was taken hostage. His identity was found to be David Kimmey, a former member of the Irish Republican Army, who was expelled after being found to be too eager to continue violence towards British rule after the end of the armed campaign, ending with him firing a shot at a minor British politician, wounding the politician. He admitted that his brother, Brent Kimmey, was the mysterious “Ucas Aves”, and one of the major leadership of the MLCR.

David Kimmey, a captured member of the terrorist organization MLCR, has been transferred to the recently and controversially reinstated Guantanamo Bay, and, after weeks of interrogation, he has admitted all his secrets. The MLCR is attempting to use the virus to control the minds of Earth’s population, and to improve their own physical well-being. However, they are having issues with making the virus non-fatal. According to David, it was suggested to him to make a version of the virus that would be controllable; however, David said, that could not be done unless the virus had direct contact with the blood. He was working on it when his lab was raided by the SAS three weeks ago.

After months of tense silence from the MLCR, a large group of insurgents rapidly took over and overthrew the government of the region of Darfur, executing both Sudanian and Darfur Liberation Front leaders in the area. They have now declared the nation Crown of Redemption. The MLCR now has a nation to back its already massive force. The UN has so far responded with several emergency meetings. The United States has increased its alert level to DEFCON 2.

Tense political strain has been building up the last few months after the terrorist organization MLCR took over the Darfur region of Sudan. Today, the MLCR took the first shot and attacked Hawaii, Liverpool, and Israel, although fortunately not with the UCA-12 virus. The attacks were repelled, but brought panic to the countries involved. All UN countries are on maximum alert, but fear to wage ware in the Crown of Redemption for fear of the UCA-12 virus’ release.

The President and members of Congress were evacuated, however, the civilian casualties were enormous. In response, the US attacked the border of the Crown of Redemption, and managed to capture several towns from the unprepared MLCR forces.

On the two month anniversary of the MLCR Initiative, the MLCR, despite fighting a steadily downhill battle against the US, attacks Israel once again, along with attempting to drop a small nuclear bomb on London. However, the British Air Force caught the MLCR plane and shot it down over the English Channel, killing all 4 pilots who were unaware of the explosive contents of the plane.

After a downhill battle against US, British, and Israeli forces, the MLCR turns back and begins seizing Libyan, Sudanian, and Egyptian territory rapidly. Egypt has declared surrender after discovering that MLCR had hidden a drilling machine with a bomb onboard directed towards Cairo that would contaminate the city’s water supplies with the UCA-12 virus.

The MLCR has now struck a nerve with China after detonating a large explosive in a skyscraper in Beijing. The bomb, believed to either be nuclear or contaminated with UCA-12, resulted in the entire city being evacutated.

Brent Kimmey, sounding urgent and, for once, nervous announces today that he lost contact with a secret UCA lab in London, England after the scientists announced a “possible leak”. He has announced the unfinished strain in its present form is “extremely contagious and deadlier than anything the minds of the people who originally discovered it could possibly envision.” Later that day, the British government announced London to be quarantined after a mystery illness broke out in an apartment complex. All communication and travel to and from London has been halted, and the army surrounds the city.

The US government has quarantined part of New York city after an airplane landing in the city was found to contain people infected with the virus. What news reporters reporting on the event from a distance saw was horrifying; the virus had been modified in a way that warped the human mind and body, as they saw when the airplane landed; pale humans with a feral, insane looks in their eyes with obviously mutated claws and fangs attempting to attack the US personel in the area, although all failed. However, some infected, now dubbed zombies by the public after the common horror element of either walking dead or humans infected with a virus similar to this one, escaped and have been reported attacking Americans.

Zombies have been sighted in every corner of the globe but the poles. In some countries, like Italy, the Crown of Redemption, and Australia they have only been sighted alone or in small groups roaming the countryside, but in some regions, like England and New England, they already outnumber uninfected humans. However, an American scientist, Terry Smith has captured a zombie and has made some observances. First, the obvious; absolutely berserk, possibly mentally damaged or rewired, has elongated claws and teeth coated with infective liquids, and can outrun, outmanuever, and overpower most humans. He did a blood test on the zombie and found, in addition to the expected blood and virus, found excessive amounts of adrenaline in the blood, explaining the zombie’s increased abilities. He also found using an X-ray a small tumor by the heart. He decided to examine it, and found that the virus has somehow caused the body to spawn a new organ. The organ’s purpose is currently unknown, but is theorized to do with the physical mutations of the zombie.

Zombies have overwhelmed the planet. The last couple thousands of survivors are left fighting for their lives every day. Most, if not all, governments no longer exist. Looters attempt to take advantage of the catastrophe in the misguided hope that the things they steal may someday be worth it. For some, the only companions they have are their canine and feline friends, who are immune to the infection due to it being modified to only target humans. To add to the already immense disaster, zombies have been spotted sporting new mutations, like wings, gills, firable needles coated with infectious material, toughened, nearly bulletproof skin, massive size, and several others. Areas heavy in zombie activity are also now accompanied by a mysterious dark green gas. It does not appear harmful currently, but its effects are ultimately unknown. It does seem to be turning trees into something else, and the few brave or stupid adventurers who go into the fog that come out report seeing odd, organic-looking growths, some of which seem to pulse. It is now up to you to restore Earth. It is time for you to assume your role in…..
