Just went to see the movie.... I'm quite disturbed to tell the truth. It's one of those movies that kind of pushes the "PG" rating. It was very deep, though. It looked like a Tim Burton movie, personally.
what did you guys think?

I'm currently reading the book, I think it is very good, but a little bit overcreepy much.

I prefer the book of Caroline over the movie.

I also prefer the book over the movie, for two reasons:
1. No "Wyby". He isn't a good character.
2. Coraline just looks stupid in the movie (sorry if anyone disagrees with me).
There were also a lot of differences from the book, that I am too lazy to mention here ;).
And yes, it does kinda push the PG rating. But I thought it pushed it the most at the part of Mrs. Spink and Forcible in the Other Mother's world...that was just gross...:|

Lol, that's the only part I thought really pushed the PG rating. I mean, there are plenty of movies that push PG-13, so you'd expect it to happen to PG, too, imo.

on the subject of pushing the rating, I'm surprised a PG movie was like that. I know SO MANY more PG-13 movies that should be rated R instead... none of them are the marvel related ones.

Most of the ones I'm thinking of are spoof-y comedies.
