War of the Stars RPG II

This is a reincarnation of an RPG I started a long long time ago (in a galaxy far far away...:lol:) on February 15th 2008. I have decided to start it up again. Here is the story and the rules:

Story: The year is 2784. Earth has long since been turned into an apocalyptic wasteland, and only Trekatons, the wanderers of the galaxies, live there. Everyone else lives on planets scattered throughout the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies. On the planet Vulstar, an evil force has accumulated. It is wreaking havoc across both galaxies. This force is lead by the evil Ark Simmeron. The force is called The Armageddon. It is up to YOU and your party to stop it. You and your party are the top ranked soldiers of the Helion Force. The HF was formed after the Armageddon started to be a threat. Stop the Armageddon, for the sake of the universe.

Gameplay: This is mostly like a normal RPG. There are only 3 classes, though.
Each class is based upon Strength, Speed, and Wisdom. The more strength you have, the more damage you can do. The more speed you have, the faster you are. The more wisdom you have, the more options you see when a choice comes you way. Here are the classes:

Lasersword Man
You are a skilled, strong warrior. You use your retractable lasersword to fend off the Armageddon. You are a bit slow, but you are still powerful.

Strength: 8/10
Speed: 5/10
Wisdom: 7/10
HP: 50

You also have a special skill called Tri-Slash Attack. This attack allows you to do triple damage on an ememy. Once activated, you have to wait 20 posts to activate it again.

Gunman
You wield a lasergun, a gun that fires lasers. It's good for long range attacks, but isn't very powerful. You are fast, though.

Strength: 5/10
Speed: 9/10
Wisdom: 6/10
HP: 50

You have a special skill called Flash Boots. You strap on Flash Boots and zip around your enemies. This makes your attacks do double damage for 4 posts, and if you run away, you can do it without fail. When 4 posts is over, you have to wait 20 posts before you can activate it again.

Myrgycyan (MEER-ji-see-an)
The name was invented by a Lynyrd Skynyrd fan, if you were wondering. Anyway, you can fire Myrgyk at your foes. But, you will need Rhynstones to do so. Rhynestones are scattered across all the planets, in various places. One Rhynestone = one cast of the spell.

You are very wise, but not very strong at all. You are faster than the lasersword man, though.

Myrgyk Menu
You are allowed to pick 3 of these spells off the menu. You will gain more during your quest.

Fire Blast
A blast of fire that you can aim at your enemy. You start off with 15 Fire Blast Rhynestones.

Freeze
Freeze the person you are touching. They are frozen for 4 posts. You start off with 3 Freeze Rhynestones.

Invisibility
Your opponent can't see you for 4 posts. PM me your moves when you're invisible. You start off with 3 Invisibility Rhynestones.

Lightning Strike
Choose a foe to attack, and this move will hit them without fail. You start off with 8 Lightning Strike Rhynestones.

Slime Burst
A wave of slime bursts around you, sticking everyone close to you in place for 4 posts. You start off with 4 Slime Burst Rhynestones.

Water Hose
A jet of water fires from your hands. This will knock your opponent back, but do no damage. You start off with 15 Water Hose Rhynestones.

Magic Taunt
Makes all your enemies in the vicinity come closer to you. You start off with 20 Magic Taunt Rhynestones.

Summon Daemon
A daemon will come up from the ground and start attacking your foes. He will last for 10 posts. You start off with 1 Summon Daemon Rhynestone.

Magic Baby
This will summon a Magic Baby. All of your foes will go towards it. It will dissapear after 4 posts. You start off with 3 Magic Baby Rhynestones.

Heat Seeking Eyes
You will be able to see heat for 4 posts. You start off with 3 Heat Seeking Eyes Rhynestones.

Poison Fang
Inject poison into your foes. They will lose 4 HP every post for 10 posts. You start off with 2 Poison Fang Rhynestones.

Maximum Health Increase
Increases your maximum health to 55 for 5 posts. Your health will increase to 55 if you are at 50 health. If you have more than 50 HP by the end of the 5 posts, your health goes back to 50. You start off with 5 Maximum Health Increase Rhynestones.

I changed the classes a bit, reducing the HP of the Myrgycyan down to 50, and giving him the new Maximum Health Increase spell. I also gave the Swordman and the Gunman special skills, which increases their power for a bit. Read the classes for more info.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, you Level Up in this RPG. You will level up each time you defeat a certain amount of enemies, first 2, then 3, then 4 and so on. The counter goes back to 0 each time you level up. Leveling up can give increased HP, new skills, or increased stats.

Initially, you cannot dual wield guns. Though, when you level up (which I forgot to mention on my first post...adding in after I finish typing this) you might get that skill. And no, gunmen initially do not have melee weapons except their fists. And feet.

And, Swordsmen are smarter than Gunmen because I initially pictured Gunmen to be more like clones in Star Wars. But, I think I actually might make gunmen smarter now....maybe.

EDIT: No, I will not, since I realized that when I first made the classes, I made Strength, Speed and Wisdom all add up to 20.

Make me a gunman, in sleek battle armor that looks kinda like Boba Fetts, however is a little lighter and has a different helmet. I have a small robot that flies around and annoys me all the time.

Wow, these classes are pretty different from the ones in the last game. The ones last game were 3 Myrgycyans. Anyways, it's time for your first mission!

Seamonkey, Fourwind, Happystickman, it is time for your first mission. Your first mission is on the planet Tropicalia, a planet consisting mostly of small islands close together. Your mission is to find the Conch of Light. The Conch of Light is a shell, that, when blown into, stuns someone from a close range. Until now, it was thought that it was mythical, but now, recent rumours have surfaced that it is located in a cave on one of the islands of Tropicalia.

Planet Stats:

90% Water
8.9% Jungle
1% Beach
0.1% Lava

Now, go on your mission, and find the Conch!

All-You are now on the planet Tropicalia on one of its many islands. This one is pretty small. You are standing in a clearing. Jungle is all around you. To the East, you can here sounds of water. To the West and North, rustling sounds. The South is...eerily quiet.

Where do you wish to go?

PS: fourwind, happystickman, you are Gunmen, and if you are not with a myrgycyan, you will not see everything there is to the place you are in. Right now you see everything since seamonkey is with you.

Well, Shells are normally by or in water, so lets go towards the water sounds.

All - You go to the East. You find a nice beach there. About 300 metres away is another island. You could swim there. You also see a sign at the north, and at the south is just more beach. West is back where you started.

Read the sign, then use my Jetpack to fly to the island. HSM doesnt swim.

HSM - The sign reads "<-- Village of Cannibals". You then fly over to the other island. You find a villager there. He says he needs a pearl if you want to go any further.

can we kill the villager? if not I'll wait until HSM returns, then I plan to go to the village of cannibals.

I use my cape to turn into a parachute/hang glider to get to the island HSM is on.
And then well I'd probably look for a pearl, and if i found it, id beat him with it and keep it for myself. And if i didn't find it, I'd just beat him with a sharp rock. Cause i gots to conserve mah ammo!

Seamonkey - Yes, you can kill the villagers. You can kill anything, even fourwind or HSM! But I would automatically kill you for doing that:mrgreen:.

fourwind - The guy is blocking you from going anywhere else on the other island until you give him that pearl. Oh, and contrary to what I said, you can't kill him:mrgreen:.

seamonkey - You walk into the village of cannibals. There are 3 of them standing around a fire, in what seems like the centre of the village. 6 or 7 huts surround the fire. You hear noises from inside the huts.

Suddenly, you step on a twig! The 3 villagers around the fire surround you!

Oh yeah. When i used my parachute cape to get to the other island, i got stuck in a tree. So i wasn't able to get out for a while. Then when i fell out, i found the pearl, on a rock with a sign next to it that said "THE PEARL IS HERE". What the heck.... Anyway. I slip the mysteriously glowing pearl in my pocket, and then decide to go swimming to the cannibal island. But when i attempt to walk into the water, i just float over it. The pearl must mean something...no wonder that one guy wanted it so bad. I continue on to the cannibal island, where i pull my gun off my side and then shoot cannibal 1. Unfortunately i was running while did this, and missed. I hit a hut near him, and it caught on fire. Because of the unstable lasers. They burn things O.o

seamonkey - You go and talk to the woman. She sees you approaching her and says to go away. You decide to still approach her. You ask her what is wrong. She says that happystickman just killed her husband. Then, when the hut collapses in fourwind's story thing, she says that fourwind just killed her baby. She says that the only thing that will make her feel better is if you help her find her pearl where her tribe raided the peaceful villagers to the south.

What do you do?


fourwind - No, you did not the find the pearl. Cheater. :P

Anyways...

As you said in your post, you missed, and a hut caught on fire. You hear a baby crying in it. The hut then collapses. You killed a poor, innocent baby!:cry::cry::cry:

Oh, and Cannibal 1 and 2 both attack you. Cannibal 2 has a spear.

Then i throw my gun into the water, and look around. I see the spear left on the ground from the cannibals. I pick it up, strap it to my back with a leather strap i found on the spear, and then swim away to another island. I think to my self that i was not meant to be a gunman. I knew i was a good runner, and sort of smart too, but unfortunately i wasn't the best with guns. Thats why i failed gunman academy. I had never told anyone that.
AND OUT OF CONTEXT:
What happened? Dang. Didn't know cannibals had babies. I thought they just ate them or something O.o So they really aren't barbaric? This is a weird island, on a weird planet.
Oh by the way im swimming towards another island but i don't know what island.
And because of stuff...um...
Evil-------|--Good Yup. Alignment. I just killed a baby because im a horrible shot, and the god of this games like "Oh noes. Gotta lower his...Thing....Er....Yeah."

Also that spear left on the ground, was left on the ground. Remember? a cannibal threw it at one of the others.

seamonkey - You walk with her to the south. You come to where you started this adventure. You assume that the village is farther south. You keep walking and find a burnt down village. The woman identifies this as the village they raided. You almost immediately see the pearl and pick it up. The woman asks for it back.

You now have a choice. Kill the woman and keep the pearl yourself? Or give the pearl to the woman and risk not being able to get on to the other island?

Seeing the pearl, I rush down, gunning down the woman and grabbing the pearl. When asked why I did that, say "There's nothing for her to go back to anyway."

seamonkey - You arrive on the other island. The guy asks for the pearl. Since you do not have it, you wait for HSM.

HSM and seamonkey - HSM, you fly over and give the guy the pearl. He admires its beauty...and then throws it in a pool behind him. He says it's to appease the water gods. He then swims away through the ocean at lightning speed.

Their is a little pool in front of you, with a waterfall crashing down to it. Their is jungle to both the left and right.

What do you do?

HSM - You dive into the pool. You see the pearl and pick it up. You then swim into the waterfall. Behind it, there's a cave! There are 3 passages. 1 goes straight, 1 goes diagonally down and right, and one goes diagonally down and left.

Which one?

seamonkey - You go where HSM is and take the left path. You cautiously tread downwards. You then see a gap between the place you are on, and a ledge. Unless you jump to the ledge, the path is a dead end. But, on the ledge, you see something shiny...

What do you do?

I look closely to see what it is, lighting the cave up with my mystical powers.

seamonkey - You don't really have mystical powers beyond your spells...so, you just use lightning strike, lighting up the area for a second, long enough that you can see that the shiny object is just a bottle cap.

You turn back, right?

Well yeah then I go down the right path.

seamonkey - You come to an altar. As soon as you walk up to it, a minion of the Water God appears! He says that YOU took the pearl! He's wrong, but you can't stop him now! You must fight him!

HSM - You go down the middle path. There, you find a pool of slime. There is a wall right behind it. What do you do?

seamonkey - You can only lightning strike once in one turn. Anyways, you stick him in place with the slime, and then use lightning stike on him. IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE! (because the minion is made of water).

Yes, this was pointless, I never intended for there to be something behind the waterfall. When HSM mentioned it, I just made something up.

Well I leave the cave all together and proceed left.

seamonkey - You go into the jungle on the left. You find a village. It is full of peaceful pygmies. You can talk to them. There is also a shop.

Pull out my guns to intimidate them, then go into the shop and see there wares.

HSM - They are now all scared of you. You go into the shop and see these items:

A poison dart gun for 5 Fish
A hunk of cooked meat for 2 Fish
A canoe for 1 Pearl and 3 Fish

So, you have to catch some fish if you wanna buy stuff.

What do you do?

I move on past the village.

seamonkey - You come to the sea. Another island is close by.

Ill go shoot some fish and bring them back to buy a canoe. I knew that pearl would come in handy!

HSM - You walk to where seamonkey is and start shooting some fish. They are pretty dumb. You go back to the village and buy a canoe. What do you do?

Meh, seeing as fourwind quit, or something like that, you can. Just tell me your class you want to be and if you pick Myrgycyan, which spells you want.

Shoot some more fish and buy some meat. Then tell everyone to get in the canoe with me to see if we can find the cave with the shell in it.

HSM - You buy the meat. Then, everyone from the village hops in the canoe with you. There isn't enough room for Max and seamonkey! Meh, they could swim, though.

Max - I'll plunk you down in the now-empty pygmy village. What do you do?

If the place is empty, then I guess I'll go to the shop and take all of the things there.

Max - There is only 1 poison dart gun and 2 hunks of meat.

What do you do now?

Ride off to find the shell!

[ElMikkino]

HSM - I interpret this as "go to the next island". You start going there, but then you notice a current pulling you towards a river in the centre of the island! It's going to take you into a rapid! You have 24 hours to respond before you get pulled in!

Oh, and you can eat the meat to heal 10 HP.

Eat meat to recover all my health, then use my jetpack to fly away with all my supplies first. Then I carry as many pygmy's as I can to shore before we are sucked in.

HSM - So, you LET yourself get sucked in? Meh, good thing you don't die...

You ride down the rapids, scared for your life! You see a cave fast approaching! You go into it, and there is darkness all around you as you continue to ride down the rapids. You then end up in a HUGE cave, with a little light from a hole at the top! Just then, a GIANT sea serpent rises out of the water, and YOU have to fight it! You are fighting with 3 other Pygmies you failed to rescue. One has a poison dart gun, and 2 others have a bunch of throwing spears. FIGHT!!

Happystickman - The 2 spear pygmies run at it like maniacs looking for a closer hit. 1 misses, the other successfully hits the serpent near the bottom of his stomach. The serpent then swipes them away with his tail. The blowdart pygmy gets a successful shot off on the serpent's head. The serpent will now lose 1 HP per post (counting this one). You start blasting the serpent.

Taunt the serpent to attack me, then get ther spear pygmys to stab it in the back while its distracted. Tell the blowdart pygmy to keep attacking.

HSM - The serpent gets angry at you, and whips his tail at you and the blowdart pygmy (since he is right beside you)! The spear pygmies attack his sides. The first one manages to stab him twice, the other gets it once, and then one of his spears breaks. That guy isn't the best at his job...

The blowdart pygmy only had one poison dart, the others are just for attacking. He shoots one at the serpent and it hits.

Since I am near HSM, I sneak up behind the serpent and stab it with my laser swords, then hide behind a rock if there are any.

Max - Since the serpent is so focused on HSM and the pygmies, you are successfully able to sneak up behind it. You then stab it in the back with your awesome lasersword! Obviously, the serpent notices you, and fires a fireball at you! You lose 20 HP.

Blowdart Gun - Comes with 1 poison dart, and 4 regular darts. Poison darts do not do any damage at first, but the shot thing loses 1 HP per post. Regular darts do 5 damage, and you can use another attack in the same post. You may find more darts in your missions.

You can only have 1 of these items equipped to yourself. So, quick, grab one!

To the north is a crashed snowmobile. To the east, a bunch of igloos. To the west, you see some shapes moving around. To the south is the ocean, with a bunch of little iceflows on it. You can jump on them.
