North, "blimey" and "eh" are two very different expressions. What's Canuck anyway? NY stuff? A guess.

I am a Canuck and we sometimes punctuate the end of our sentences with "eh?" (sounds like "a"). There is a hockey team called the Vancouver Canucks up here. I have an English cousin who punctuates most sentences (beginning or end with "Blimey") so I've always thought it was the same sort of thing. Come to think of it, I've also got a cousin in Texas (haven't seen him in years) who I've heard on occasion say "eh" at the end of sentences as well as a lot of "ya know". Odd the things people from different parts of countries and the world in general say!

Well, North, I do say "eh" a lot but in the form of a question when I am not feeling generous enough to say "pardon?" or "pardon me?". I do say "blimey" more now that I have children but I do sometimes accidentally add a good old "bloody" by mistake for good measure. I am British but have been living in the US for 3 years this November.

How can you say it's dull in the UK when you have "Junk Yard Wars"! Check out the US vs UK on the 4th. I think it's on The Learning Channel at 9 pm Eastern.

Junk Yard Wars! Yes, a housefull of serious fans of that show here. It gives us visions of grandeur that we can actually fix all the junk in our home (or at least turn it into something else that may be useful and fun).

I watch Iron Chef almost every night with my mom. I love the way they cook, even though the food looks gross.

My last 2 step moms were phillappinno's (not sure on the spelling exactly) . They made squid, wich i like alot, and my 2nd stepmom makes panciet (not really sure either), but i love panciet, i ate alot of it, it is like chicken, noodles, veggies, and garlic. I love junkyard wars, i saw this one where they hurled cabbages and radishes at castles.
p.s. goodnight all, i'm off to play alone in the dark: the new nightmare (TOUGH !!!!!) and half life : blue shift. Boy i love 3d shooters, cant wait for the new duke nukem.
sincerely,

Losing your connection for good, or just a "vacation"? I wish I had been thinking quickly enough to use "KoolKatBad". Do you ever talk back to your computer and say, "No, I'm KoolKatBad!"?
