Did you kind of get into the publishing business with that XOP game? Looks like you're handling sales for somebody else's game, right? Seems strange because you just entered a publishing deal with Dexterity for one of your own games, didn't you? Just wondering about the reasoning behind those arrangements, that's all.

Here's my reply to basically this question, from our XOP forum:

----

No, I saw the game on Flipcode's Image Of The Day, tried it out, and thought it was WAY cool. So I asked him about it. Just kind of occurred to me that that would be cool, because I'd like to have a lot of products. No other indie game I've seen has interested me in that way yet. It has to be pretty darn special, because boy oh boy was it a pain to set up and sell. Not as much as work as say, making a game, but it's not like a free source of income or anything (of course, most of the profit goes to the developer anyway - I am a VERY VERY nice publisher!). I try to be the publisher I've always wanted to have, because I've had nothing but bad experiences.

That's the reason for XOP. The reasoning behind signing up with Dexterity is obvious: money and exposure!
