What version of DirectX do you need to run Stockboy?



Please reply as soon as possible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you ever experience any directX difficulties, you should ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS just use the link on our Game Help page to download the latest version. Several reasons:



1. The version there will be the most recent, and therefore even if it's not needed, it will definitely work.



2. It does not ever hurt anything to install the latest version, even if you already have it. It does cost downloading time and such though, so I would only do it if there was a problem.



3. Even if you already have the latest version, sometimes it can get messed up - this has happened to me before - and downloading that same version again will fix it right up!



4. Even if you don't need the latest for our game, it will work better than older versions, and you may need it for something else you install in the future.



After all that, Stockboy should run fine with any version of directX that runs our other games.

If you need directX 8.1, go to Microsoft's download site. get the correct version for your computer.
