Why did you make your music format for the game?
Wouldn't it have been easier to use .s3m or .it files?

NO, it would have been MUCH MUCH MUCH harder! The music format is very simple, and I wrote the system that plays it, and the composer you can make songs for it in. Both of those would've been massive projects for a 'real' song format. Of course if I used a standard format, I wouldn't have needed to write my own player, but all the players for those kinds of things cost money, and I wouldn't have been able to include a composer.
