Install Problem

Jamul, I did what you said about saving the target. I put the file on the desktop, I opened it, and I got a message that said "Corrupt Installation Detected". I hope it is something with my computer, because I'd hate it if this was the way the demo was.

That means your download didn't work. Somebody else had that problem too. The best cure for it, which pretty much permanently cures this for anything you download, is to get either Getright or Go!Zilla:

Either one (they're both free, I believe) will automatically intercept downloads when you click on files on the web. It'll help you out by automatically resuming broken downloads, and letting you queue up a list of things to download in the future too. It's really handy to have even if you don't have problems with your downloading. The resuming feature is the best. For instance, if your computer crashes in the middle of a download, normally you'd have to start over. With one of these programs, you can automatically continue from where it left off next time. VERY handy!!
