I've seen pre-made and pre-cooked pizza crusts in the grocery store sold under the label Boboli. You just add your toppings and bake. It's good, but impossible to beat Papa John's.

If you people really want some pizza, come to Chicago! I respect your opinion in lots of matters, Lisa, but Papa Johns just doesn't even 'slice' it out here! I don't even consider it real pizza!!! We have so many great pizza places, I could not even list them all here!

I think Uno's is part of a chain--I've seen them in several different cities.

I've had pizza in Chicago--it was good! Now I'm somewhat obsessive about fat though. Deep dish=deep fat! So I try to be careful about the amount of fat I eat, especially in 1 sitting. Even Papa John's has too much fat!

This is probably not the forum to be discussing pizza, but what the heck!

I agree with Donna. The best pizza I ever ate was in Chicago. Double crust pizzas, yummm. I think I remember a place called Uno's, but there are several. My favorite was a Florentine type with cheese about an inch think (no kidding), spinach, sauce, and a crust on top and bottom (talk about Supreme!). But since I'm not in Chicago anymore, Papa John's is a good alternative.

Uno's originated in Chicago, and is yummy deep dish. We also have fabulous thin crust pizzas. Have you heard of taking a napkin and blotting the top of the pizza to remove excess fat, Lisa? This supposedly removes a lot of fat from the thin pizzas. And you are right, Twila, this isn't the right forum, but it is a fun discussion! Mike will probably M-O-V-E it out!

Yes, I do the napkin blot! It's a mental thing--I just can't enjoy anything with too much fat. I can picture the plaque building up in my arteries. My doctor's office just called yesterday and told me my cholesterol dropped 58 points since last year--and I plan to keep it that way!

Don't you miss Mike keeping us all straight on the forums? I do!
