Mike -
Thanks for the great update on Loonyland. Now, please, please, please hurry. I want it--no, I need it soon. All right, everyone, bang your fists on the desk and yell really loud - WE WANT LOONYLAND, WE WANT LOONYLAND...

Yeah, I'm working on it... The update idea (a newsletter you can sign up for that goes out when things are released) was one I had a long time ago and never implemented. It's one of the choices on the poll in General Crap! Better vote for it because "a monthly newsletter" is winning. Or was last time I checked... better check again just in case.
But anyway, there's no reason I couldn't have both I guess. Would probably be nice to have SOMETHING I am sure...
Anyway, in the meantime, looks like you'll just have to visit the site every single day! How sad for me!

Well... I don't know... I don't like to do release dates because then the anxious people become mad people. Here's what I can figure out: on my white board, the only things left to make are an ending, some of the sound effects, and the high score page. That's not more than a week's work (and normally shouldn't be that either, but let's be safe). BUT that doesn't mean it's coming out next week! My last experience with trying to ship a product took something like 2.5 months to finally get it available. Plus I have to design the packaging. So... how about approximately, maybe, a little more than a month from now? I hope that is conservative. But I don't know. I'm a BAAADDD estimator. I do want to get it thoroughly tested though, for sure. The demo will probably be available first, since once I am done and waiting on results from shipping people, I'll have time to work on that. But don't expect it this month! After all, this is a special Halloween surprise, remember? Halloween 2000, that is. So really expecting it before 2007 is a bit much!
One of the reasons I'm independent is so that I don't have to meet deadlines, you know!
P.S. - sign up for the newsletter(s) on the front page of the site... then you'll know the second it comes out!

Well I love them too. In fact, I tried a picture of one for that spot <---- but it ended up very deformed from the shrinking. So sad.
