Gloomy Cavern

There is a heart piece in the cavern where the girl is. There is a door that will not open. Does anyone know how to get to the heart piece?

Before anybody tears their hair out over anything pertaining to the Gloomy Cavern, I want to say there is a bug in there, apparently the girl will NOT follow you on return visits to the cave. She is supposed to. This doesn't make anything impossible, but makes things tough since you can't miss anything on your first try! I think I will put up a patch today. If I don't have time, it will be tomorrow. It will fix every known bug. Hopefully there won't be anymore!!

Thanks so much Mike. I was beginning to lose what mind I do have left. By the way........this is one of the coolest games I have seen. Keep up the good work!! Do not beat yourself up over these little problems. Nothing is 100%. I think things are going very well considering all the different things this game will do. You did an awesome job!!!

As an added bonus, I am putting in something VERY stupid and VERY cool as a VERY hidden reward... you won't see it until you have all the merit badges, and even then, it'll take some searching!



(I figure a patch shouldn't just fix bugs... why not add something cool?)

Somethings are 100%. I finished the game with 100%. For three days I had finished at 99.3%. Could not find two Power-ups. But then "wow", while loafing around in the ???? I stumbled on to a secret "Hidey Hole". BINGO. There they were...too cool. I am replaying and fully documenting. This game is awesome and I have 20 badges and my menu is complete.
