Super Duper Bonus scores

So now that most regulars have gotten to the super secret super duper bonus thingie, what high scores have you gotten in it? It's CRAZY hard I think... and more than a little random! My best is 10245, surviving for 7:48. Of course, my next best in the same session was only 6120, so I think luck is a pretty major part of it.

14:14, 15570 points. It was total luck, I slamed myself into a wall and bounced into about 5 powerups. I then proceded to fire triple explosive backwards shots from my shielded ship for the next few bosses. Then I ran out of powerups, ran out of bombs and was quickly dispatched. Still, it was a pretty good run. Before that my best score was 9:11, kind of a bad omen.

My score was 11000+ (I lost the paper I wrote the actual score on.) However, I died under 00:05:00.

So far: 14:27 5210. But I just found it and have only played a few times.

I can't believe the huge differences between times and scores... must have to do with combos - if you blow up enemies right in a row (less than 2 seconds between each one), each one is worth more points than the last (x2, x3, x4, etc). So the high scores in short time must be the result of a whole lot of combos! I guess. I don't know, it's all crazy to me.

I probably got some big combos once I had all the powerups. I just spun around shooting for a couple of minutes until they wore off.
