How do I get the skull key?

I have been through beneath the lake, I just can't get to the left side to kill everything over there. Am I missing a switch or something. this is the last key I need and I can't figure it out. I know I ask for a lot of help on the ezboard, but this one I can't seem to figure out. I have been trying for a week now and just can't get it.

Okay so this is a stupid question..........blow it up how? Just thought I would ask because I don't have the bomb weapon yet. I'm still trying to find it.

Shoot them with anything, you'll see them getting hurt, and it doesn't take too much to finish them off.

The fuses are arranged the way they are for a reason... flip some and see what happens. Destroying the Bonehead-O-Matics won't accomplish anything (other than getting rid of the boneheads!), you just have to manipulate the fuses to make it possible to get where you want to go. Watch the walls when you flip the switches too. You'll figure out how they work quickly. Then the trick is figuring out how to use them to get where you want to go! That's tough. Just do it one room at a time. Look at each room, see what you need to do to get through it, and do it. If you look carefully once you know how the fuses work, you'll realize which directions you can't possibly ever go, so try going other directions.

I think there's some more clear help on this topic available somewhere else in this forum, but I don't know where!
