You are NOT supposed to cheat to get that gem (that's why it's called "cheating"!). It's not intended to be gettable in the demo. Sounds like you're just missing the Swampdog Doll probably, which can be a pain to get - much easier to get in the full version where you can go into the lair.

You see, I decided to get all the powerups on my other demo game (The one I got demo champion on) and so i went to underground tunnel to get the third lightning and when i defeated the swampdog by it I couldnt beleive my eyes: A SWAMPDOG DOLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ARRRRGH!!! I just went on the game and beat about 50 swampdogs, and I still couldn't find it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!You're so lucky. Oh yeah, I'm moving to California. And when you get back I'll be still be on for about two more weeks.

Hey, guess what! I was playing Loonyland, strolling aroung around Slurpy Swamp, killing as many swampdogs possible for the doll, when all of the sudden I killed the ugly swampdog closest to the crystal! Well, you probably guessed it! The ugly swampdog doll!

I appreciate all the help and hints your forum has given me. However, I have to wonder if this game is as difficult as I'm making it.



For instance, I am now stuck in the Musty Crypt and have tried more times than I can count to get past those pink critters and that evil soil. *smile* I have no idea what it's called.



Is everyone having this much trouble or am I just plain dumb??? No need to be kind. I know I'm slow at these games, but I'm so addicted to it that I just have to finish it!!!

Don't be too hard on yourself! Leave an area that is too hard for a while. After you gather more power ups and atuff, go back and you will be amazed at how much easier it is!

And if the soil is evil... don't step on it! Are you referring to the spikes? I know there's lots of those in the crypts. Here's a crypt trick: There are 3 crypts, as you know, but they're designed to be done a certain order - one is very short and easy, one is medium, and one is HUGE and hard. So do them in the right order.



WAIT a minute! Are you talking about fighting the Zombie Lords? They're kinda pink, and they kick up evil soil... They can be tough! The easiest way to fight them is probably to do it from as far away as your shots can reach. That gives you more time to avoid the spikes they shoot. Also, there's health in the room they're in, so grab that, but not until you need it! Remember, zombies are slow, so outspeed them to victory. And if you do get injured - run up in their face firing as fast as you can to take advantage of your momentary invincibility. But make sure you ran away again before it runs out. It doesn't last long!
