How do U get the heart from the bog pit???

You need the Skull Key. Go to the doorway in the middle of Deeper Under the Lake, save your game at the save beacon in there. You need to defeat Frankenjulie to get the key.

I assume you have the full version; you can't get that heart in the demo.
