Crystal Monster

When I arrive at the Crystal Area there isn a strip of land. I meet the crystals,, all normal until I see a bigger crystal. I shoot it and shoot it, it never dies, and it escapes, then it is under me, I battle crystals and then it hovers over me when I meet a new crystal, before the mini boss and boss come, it comes back and I shoot it more, and it finally dies. Is that a rwesult of how much i shot before? Honoria

I think this is simply it's behavior. No matter what, you can't destroy it before it reaches it's final point.
