What do the candies do and how do you pop them?

I thought it was in the hints... it's definitely in the manual if you have the CD version. To pop a mint, you need to pop 8 pumpkins at once, that are touching it in some way. That gives you either bonus points, a Bomb, or a Zot. Right click to use a bomb or zot.
