Team Rose is 4 beginners. Team Chaotix is an unique team cuz u have little side missions. Team Dark has hard and lengthy (a good thing) levels and and Team Sonic is kinda in the middle.

The Sonic Adventure games were way too easy. I guess Sonic Team listened to the fans and made this one harder. Thats a good thing. I have the game, and I like it.

I can't say I liked it. If the levels had been designed better so that you don't die for stupid reasons like "you can't predict the future" I would have liked it.

Oh you mean Ambushes? Yeah that's one of the things I don't like about it.

I mean like in the canyon levels (7 and 8 I think) where you need to be on the middle of three bars or you die, but you have no way of knowing that because you can't see where you end up. Or when you get flung uncontrollably into a group of enemies. That's just me though. I don't really like most Sonic games. I only like Sonic Adventure (both) and sonic 3 because it had a save feature. For me, the best game Sonic Team ever made was Ristar. Excellent game for the Genisis.

The key to winning is fly formation! When your not racing or trying to speed though it just move with fly formation.You will be slow but when sudden things happen all you have to do is fly and your safe! Or,when you go across BIG areas jump one-half across the area then fly the rest of the way.It takes timeing,but I got used to it and I got 100%. And finnaly,I bet you know this but it saves when you die,when you win and when you finish a bonus stage. And when your in danger of being on the wrong bar just fly and stay there untill the dangers gone or fly away. Sonic 3 is hard because I can't get past The Circus Act 2 when you have to go under a spining cilinder.

All you have to do in that level, is hold up or down on the cylinder. Be amazed.

I usually have problems at times when you cant use Fly formation, like when grinding. Good advice though, and yes that cylinder thing is annoying until you figure it out. Then you are embarrased that it took you so long to do it. Eep.

There's another method. You must be Sonic & Tails, and you must have 2 controllers. Otherwise, this won't work. First get Tails (using Controller #2) onto the Cylinder, and have him bounce repeatedly(This probably won't work without 2 people). Next, get Sonic close to the cylinder and charge up a spin-dash. Next, when the cylinder is high enough, let go and you'll be in.

Oh....so that's how you do it! You can still use fly formation on rails but it will take you a LONG TIME to get off it. But you will still be safe!

I tried to get past it like that and I got through it with sonic ALONE.
